I couldn't do brogues, I feel funny in them. I do love them on someone with the right style though.

Nice one Marsha. Great spotting something you have already seen and know you liked. It is distinctive but in a good way - as you say, one that you will have to try and see. I really love the Equipment one - so, so tempted to order it but I do have enough knits and it would eat into the boot fund.

It might be a bit much. But for some reason I remembered seeing it way back when and fainting at the price.

The Equipment is lovely. But yes good one on saving for what you really want. I feel like I need an actual skirt to go with it. I have so many jumpers, and shoes now I need something other than skinnies to wear in the middle of the two.

I think I want some brogues but I'm not really sure if they'll work for me in say, standard black. I think I'd have to have something a bit 'funkier' to go with my usual jumble sale style outfits

How about doc marten style ones with the thicker soles One? Bit less classic.

Actually does that mean they stop being Brogues. No idea!

Not keeping any of the trousers Santa, I have had them picked up by DHL already . I really hope the MIH shirt and Z&V top are keepers but won't be at home tomorrow so will get them on Monday at earliest. Still waiting for the Acne trousers from Matches.

We are spending the weekend staying in central London to celebrate DH's birthday so hoping get into some real shops. Have my eye on some trousers in Jigsaw and I'd like to get into R&B to try on boots.

Liberty have a lovely weekend and hope the rest of your orders are keepers. I really need trousers & jeans for a/w too, would also like to get a couple of equipment silk shirts. Don't need knitwear either but want more due to all the great links on here.

I love brogues, am neither cool enough nor inclined to carry them of in a hipster way but keep them classic and not too masculine with mini and opaques. Have top right Crockett & Jones ones in this pic in burgundy with navy ribbon laces & would like another pair in black. Dh loves them .

Righto, next do is a poolside BBQ tomorrow. I will NOT be swimming over 25 degrees to get me in water only but what on earth will I wear? Not boiling. No jeans. Think perhaps 7/8 trs, lace shell and sandals.....or pencil skirt, silver flat sling backs and grey TT shirt combo.
Sometimes clothes exhaust me. I have major problems don't i?

Just had a quick skim back. Just to add to the conversation I can't do brogues either although I love them especially in a slightly quirky way with a tea dress and cardi. Actually one I could imagine you wearing them like that.
