Come and join us for friendly fashion chat. Some of our glasses are empty because we're trying to loose weight, but were still happy, non judgemental, flippant and welcoming lot. We love new visitors (ESP Shop who will hug you)

Hmm, that must be so annoying! Stick to Selfridges Smile.

I cracked...have been shopping. I got

the hoodie....I know I know! but it is so soft and cosy! think it will get worn loads! not pre/post workout but days out with kids etc, on the beach in Cornwall....I resisted buying the bottom half you'll be pleased to hear Smile

Also got lime green sweater and also this large beaded clutch from Question Air, I loved it for summer as soon as I saw it! Will lift the hoodie and jeans a bit Grin

Marsha did you decide about keeping your purchases? Nice Outnet stuff btw.

And this

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 04/04/2014 15:49

Both are fantastic skirts for the price.

Lined.
Invisible zip.
Great quality thick cotton with a bit of elastane.
Fab fit.
The pink is longer, more calf length, the blue is on the knee and very tapered.

Love both. But I'm keeping the blue because it goes with so much in my wardrobe. Very happy.
I'm planning to wear it
like this

Marsha shame about your things! but I think you need to really love stuff to keep it whatever the price and ESP if it's expensive. I need to try to practice this Smile

You'll look great with the skirt styled like that Dry.

Has anyone got a White Company code? I have just tried on a dress and I HAVE to have it but can't bear paying full price. Decam you sometimes have codes for them???

SecretSquirrel13 · 04/04/2014 16:52

Like that Dry
Liberty they sent an email with 15% Code W1U22 until 10th April.
There may be a 20% code around somewhere tho.

OneLittleLady · 04/04/2014 16:55

hello everyone Smile

Can't wait til Sunday when Dp is back! My sister and a few friends are coming round for dinner and wine (wine is for them not me!) tonight, I'm making a curry as my sister specifically asked me to as she likes how I cook them Smile

Turquoiseblue · 04/04/2014 17:25

Aw one, hope you have a lovely evening! Good food and good company Smile

Marsha- the outfit looked lovely but I agree - spend on stuff you will get lots of wear from. I wouldn't spend on work wear tbh. But then I don't need to and don't work in an industry where it matters so might not be best judge if that.

I hmmmmmmd a bit about the brogues that s why I like the ones I linked to- they re very much in the style of pumps, very neat and tidy, I did have to get them soled as was worried it was a bit thin. Plus they were bargainous. Am finding I m wearing them more than I thought I would. A happy experiment. Not sure I d wear them with skirts tho.

Am a bit peeved with AR. My trousers have been dispatched but the jumpsuit I ordered, they emailed me to say it wasn't in stock but keeps showing up on their website, when I enquired again they said it was at a photo shoot and there was a glitch in their computers which is why it was showing up as in stock. Annoying. Am a bit put off. Plus I returned stuff and despite a few emails they haven't acknowledges the return. Will give them a few more days. Shame was goig to order a few sweaters and a top I had my eye on. Might order from asos instead.

Turquoiseblue · 04/04/2014 17:26

Oh and love the skirts dry.

Decameron · 04/04/2014 18:24

Liberty, I got a card with a 20% discount AD179. I don't know for how long it is valid.

Sleep, cool shopping!

I've found that AR are still slow with returns, Turquoise, I'm avoiding them.

Camo jeans arrived, Shop, really nice fit and I am sure they will provide DH with a laugh! I got the 28.

Stokey · 04/04/2014 18:56

Love the skirts Dry, have to check them out. Is she wearing flats with it in that pin? I find it a bit hard to tell when they have feet like they're in heels but you can't see the heel.

Poor Dh is outside trying to assemble sandpit before it gets dark for birthday tomorrow, hope it doesn't rain!

libertychick · 04/04/2014 19:57

Thanks Decam and Secret I will try those out. I will link the dress when I have ordered it.

Sleep I meant to say well done on the hoodie - I saw it in Philosophy Air when I was in Hampstead a couple of weeks ago and it is so soft and lovely. Love the clutch!

I have returned stuff to AR this week Turq so I am wondering how long the refund will take this time.

Enjoy your curry One sounds like a nice evening.

Oh and I bought this Whistles merino sweater today. Thanks again for the Whistles card Sleep Smile I have wanted it for a while but could never find it when I was in the stores - spotted it today in a 12 hanging all by itself - had been just returned so I am pleased.

libertychick · 04/04/2014 19:57

Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow Stokey.

Sleepwhenidie · 04/04/2014 19:59

Sleepwhenidie · 04/04/2014 20:02

Glad you got something nice Lib, (which one was it, I got whole page via link).... the cash for the gift card went on the hoodie so thank you too Thanks!

libertychick · 04/04/2014 20:08

The Whistles site is a pain to link Sleep it's this one. Sounds like a good result all round then from our deal Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/04/2014 21:29

Dry glad the skirts are nice quality, they're so pretty. Love the pin outfit, will look great. I'm making a pencil skirt pinboard as I can't find the perfect one!

Love the clutch Sleep, will be perfect for summer. I have this asos one which isn't very me but couldn't resist last year for holiday.

My DP dress arrived and fits nicely, hits just below the knee. Looking forward to trying it with a white shirt under and various shoes.

libertychick · 04/04/2014 21:44

Great clutch Blair - what height are you? Interested always in dresses that hit below the knee!

santamarianovella · 04/04/2014 21:49

BrandyAlexander · 04/04/2014 21:50

Am I too short for a skater skirt? I am looking at it longingly but not sure it's me. Sob.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/04/2014 22:10

What length is it novice, or do you mean you think it might make you look young?

liberty I'm about 5'6, short legged and high waisted.

Sorry for the multitude of skirts being pinned. I'm really getting into the search!

libertychick · 04/04/2014 22:33

Same height Blair. I'll take a look around DP's tomorrow if DD permits!

Novice looks very young! I think you might never be able to drink again if you wore a skater skirt

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/04/2014 22:39

I had to order the dress from BHS liberty so I'm not sure whether it would be in stores considering it's not on DP site. Odd and annoying (esp as DP always have codes!). It might have been on there in black though.

BrandyAlexander · 04/04/2014 22:40

I got itBlush My hair is swept up, I think that convinced me I didn't look like teenagerHmm

BrandyAlexander · 04/04/2014 22:42

Oh that's a lovely dress!
