It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

Novice, that can be easily arranged - we only need another meet up!

santamarianovella · 22/02/2014 13:23

Novice,I saw a very chic lady,in the airport ,she was carrying this, looks good enough for travel and day to day use,As it can be expanded to a shopper bag. I'm very tempted but its too much for me ATM, I need a bag for traveling,as it looks will be doing it a lot from now on,so I was thinking of getting the LV never full.

becausecan the mini hold an IPad?

BecauseIsaidS0 · 22/02/2014 13:35

Santa no, it doesn't hold and iPad. It is definitely on the smaller side but perfect for running around when you just need your wallet and keys.

I've got something similar to this LV bag for going to work. It fits my work clothes (I go to yoga before going to work), iPad, and everything I need for a weekday quite easily.

QueenCadbury · 22/02/2014 14:02

Phew only 1 accident in pizza express followed by another in the car on the way home (although to be fair she did tell me needed a wee whilst I was driving).

That BV is gorgeous. I really like all the yellow stuff but it doesn't like me back.

libertychick · 22/02/2014 14:43

I logged on to link my new bag for opinions and Because has trounced me by linking a gold and black pashli!!! It’s very beautiful.

So this is not in the league of a Pashli, or a Disco or the LV or that lovely BV Santa has just linked but I may have finally found my perfect work bag – I present the Modalu Dickens Large Tote. Got it this morning in TKMaxx for £150 (my max work bag budget). Honest opinions appreciated as it’s a lot for me to spend on a bag. I have all my work stuff packed in and it zips up easily and fits over my shoulder.

I think it’s a keeper…views v welcome.

OneLittleLady · 22/02/2014 15:23

Went to the college open day this afternoon to chat to the course leader about my application etc. Very positive, he said he counted it as my formal interview and he says there should be no problem offering me a place. Of course, my application needs to be looked at formally but it's looking good for me Grin

QueenCadbury · 22/02/2014 15:44

I really like that liberty, keep it

BecauseIsaidS0 · 22/02/2014 15:48

I like it too, liberty.

Looking good, One!!!

QueenCadbury · 22/02/2014 15:55

I'm loving this blouse that was linked to on another thread. Shame I can't afford it but may keep an eye on it at sales time.

Decameron · 22/02/2014 16:04

Looks perfect, Liberty, keep it.

Glad you are using the bag, Shop, enjoy lunch.

Lovely bag too, Because.

I tried that blouse on recently, QueenC, it's lovely.

Decameron · 22/02/2014 16:05

Good news, One!

maradesbois · 22/02/2014 16:52

Thanks linus and santa for skiing info. Will decide what to do with ds when we arrive but may just stick to sledging this year. We'll be with family & very relaxed with plenty of childcare etc.

santa the LV never full large size is a great day bag that you can pack full of stuff and really light but sturdy. I use my goyard St. Louis tote for same purpose but its not as strong or hard wearing. The good thing about LV monogram & damier is that they lo

black pouch AND blue & white clutch.

maradesbois · 22/02/2014 16:54

Aargh posted to early! Was going to say they look better the more bashed about they get.

Also posted 2 smythson bags, have just been looking at their sale and realised I could get both of these for roughly the price of the marni...

maradesbois · 22/02/2014 16:58

Also like this smythson pouch. So keen to have a yellow bag but am v indecisive at the moment too!

Drywhiteplease · 22/02/2014 17:14

Novice your rugby outfit sounds fab. It's on downstairs...lots if screaming here!
Shop and QC I remember those first days out without nappies...stressful. Shop enjoy your night out.

Qc I love that blouse.
Anni has your HoF blue jumper arrived? Do you like it? My navy arrived today, v pleased with it.

MarshaBrady · 22/02/2014 17:17

Hello, back in lovely London!

Four hour delay stuck on the plane in Dubai and lost suitcase. Really hope Marant heels aren't in that one, or running kit.

Still very nice to be home.

maradesbois · 22/02/2014 17:18

liberty agree that your work bag looks like a keeper and bonus of finding such a classic buy in tk maxx, I do love a discount!

shopafrolic · 22/02/2014 17:36

Not sure I feel warm enough to wear a dress tonight so am thinking coated black skinnies, LKB black shoe boots this tee and a black tux jacket.
Welcome home marsha bad luck re: suitcase. Hopefully it will show up soon.
DS made it through without an accident, I have never had so many trips to a restaurant toilet in my life!

Evening all!

Had such a nice day, DP and I have been on a mini road trip, coffee outdoors (so sunny!) followed by furniture shopping (love it!) which was a success - bought a sideboard for our dining room.

Because your Pashli is just stunning, love the gold. And liberty great tx maxx find, it looks perfect for work.

dry and shop have fun tonight, and lovely outfits.

Wb Marsha hope suitcase is found asap!

One tentative congrats, sounds like they really want you :)

Ok so think I can say this with less fear of being outed now - the competition I won last week was tickets to London Fashion Weekend, I'm going tomorrow and get to see a "trend" catwalk show, get a goody bag etc. But... what on earth to wear? Will be walking from Waterloo to Somerset House so probably Nikes, but not sure what with! What would you all go for? Don't want to look too try hard obv :)

LinusDKD · 22/02/2014 18:42

Sitting in my pj's, feet in footner exfoliating socks, no make-up.

DH is soooo lucky to be married to me! Grin.

Loving all the bag links.

Keep the bag liberty, it looks perfect for work.

Very Envy about the Pashli because! Still pining after the cobalt one.

I love that yellow Smythson mara!

Funnily enough I saw a lovely yellow LV bag in the shop window today.
