dry DH has just started making a little dress for DD. So far it looks really sweet.

I might have to take up sewing myself but I am not handy nor creative.

My Asos biker parka arrived today and it is a bit out of my comfort zone. I will keep it as it has a hood and will be easy to throw on when I do the nursery run but I do prefer the more tailored look of my Hobbs mac.

Have just caught up on a weeks worth of MNV - so many lovely links but too many to comment on.

I think it was marsha who said a few days ago she was sick of winter clothes - me too. I dislike 'everything' that I am wearing atm - but it is probably because I seem to have been wearing winter clothes for months and months.

Returned this dress to AR but have kept these. They are far too long so will need to get them tailored. Just need some tops to go,with.

Also have these which I think I will wear a lot.

Am also thinking about slim boyfriends so need a trying on session. My local Indie shop is expanding to include a jeans clinic so may head over there later.

Finally, was sorry to see the mini bun fight over privacy. I love MNV for all the ideas, affordable or not and would be sorry to see anyone leave as everyone has different style and tastes. Chanelgate was truly awful.

shop and any other gap khaki-ears please report back on sizing, I got a very old pair out today and they are a size 8 I mean obviously they're not a size 8 as I'm still a large 10, but would be interested to hear how the skinny khakis fit as I'll have to order online. I'm a 27 in their jeans...

I haven't worn these old ones for ages but the talk of khakis encouraged me to try them on, they are still very dated but I rolled the leg a little and they are totally updated! With NBs and a white embroidered shirt they look ok.

Oh I forgot to wish grumpy a lovely break in Spain. The weather is set to perk up here on Thursday, which is handy as that is when I'm leaving for the snowy alps. Right now the rain outside is torrential.

After a fairly crappy morning I had a run in the glorious spring sunshine and blossom with a fresh breeze. Favourite weather for running. Some loud music blew away the cobwebs. Feeling much better.

Fedup I love both those. I know winter clothes last for ages here. The only thing that is lucky is that I still love the Marant coat. But still! It's such a long time.

I tried on the high waisted skinnies again today and have decided I will return as I just can't get on with the waist. It's almost as if they make my waist look slim but then there's a layer of fat above it that's been squished up . I will try on some regular skinnies though whilst the 30% offer is on though.

A bright/print skirt for work

Baseball cap for summer driving
Flat pointed shoes.

I tried on some NB's today and my normal size fits really well but I am still hesitating.

The colour I tried wasn't my cup of tea but was the only one available in the shop and the model wasn't the 410's or 420's I've been eyeing up but the 699's or 966's so maybe that's why I wasn't convinced but it hasn't put me off completely either.

I tried some NB yesterday Linus they looked good, they were 420's so I wore my converse a like trainers today for the first time in a year just to test the water. I liked wearing them with my unstructured long grey coat copyingthis blogger here
but not sure how much I would wear them when it is too warm for a coat. BTW the coat she is wearing is at the top of my wish list for A/W.

Linus I am very casual when at home and happy in ash virgins and skinnies but I feel just wrong in NBs, like I'm too old for them- maybe I am!
