It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

I hate to think anyone is feeling upset on vogue.

Another way to alert people is a good idea. Everyone please stay. Flowers for all.

maradesbois · 03/03/2014 10:26

Hi blair don't go to gap just yet! Had an email this morning saying 30% off is on 6-12 march. I'll be lo

maradesbois · 03/03/2014 10:27

Oops! I'll be looking for white jeans for spring and some coloured khakis.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/03/2014 10:41

Ooh nice one mara, thanks! I'll wait til then - not like I need them for a good while yet, thanks to the continuing rubbish weather.

QueenCadbury · 03/03/2014 10:43

because I can see that you feel left out but I think there's a group of us that trust each other enough to post personal photos. That's not to say that you can't be trusted but a lot of us were freaked out by some other threads on s&b and fear being outed in real life. All we're asking is that our privacy is respected. But to those of us that are on the pin board I feel that we should be sensitive to those that aren't and not mention it on a public thread. Please let's not have any spats on Mnv as so far this thread has stayed free of them.

Anyway, the sun is now shining, I didn't get rained on although I am very muddy so I am now going to jump in the shower and clean the bathroom (oh, the glamour).

dry are you dressed up for world book day?

QueenCadbury · 03/03/2014 10:43

Oh and liberty, step away from the blonde highlights Smile

SecretSquirrel13 · 03/03/2014 10:44

Isn't it on Thursday queenC? Feeling mildly panicky that I've got the wrong day!

Stokey · 03/03/2014 10:46

Thanks for the advice re the GAP jeans Umlauf, will check them out. Although as dollar has such a good exchange rate, maybe I can afford some Aidens...
And have just remembered how much I liked the Mih Marrakesh when I tried them on at Selfridges, may need to search for high street copy.

It's my ankles that get cold Shop - have the same problem with 3-quarter length tops and my wrists.

& love the Leonardo link Blair , poor guy he does deserve some acknowledgment.
Oh & definitely recommend Selfridges, found the appointment very useful & it's free.

QueenCadbury · 03/03/2014 10:50

secret you are probably right as the infant school and nursery are on Thursday. Not sure why juniors was today then Confused

shopafrolic · 03/03/2014 10:52

stokey the Marrakech are on sale at Atterley road and asos for a good price at the moment! I'm wearing mine today with my gap windowpane jumper I think blair also has although due to norkage the windows are more sash windows than neat little squares and a neon yellow necklace with wedge trainers. The jeans dyed my ash spirals last time I wore them Shock

LinusDKD · 03/03/2014 11:18

Morning!

I really hope we can find a solution so people won't feel left out but I agree that privacy is paramount when it comes to pinning personal stuff on Pinterest.

Oh and was never one of the cool girls IRL! No sitting at the back of the bus 'getting up to no good' for me! Wink

Acne, glasses and braces were my companions at school [world's tiniest violin playing]

Now, back to fashion:

Loved Lupita's dress, such a gorgeous colour. Not fond of the headband though.

And a designer who makes A. Jolie look ahem 'big' needs to think about a career change.

None of the other dresses stood out to me but I only had a quick look so I'll try and have a better look later.

I finally managed to forced myself to go for a swim today and it was great. I was in the slow lane with all the OAP's but I didn't care.

bonsoir I can second the Paige Jimmies. But I also saw some on Asos that looked good and at a decent price. Will try and link later.

Turquoiseblue · 03/03/2014 11:18

Morning all,

Lovely stuff on the outnet this morning - really nice iro jackets here love the first one
here am seriously considering ordering but have ordered another last night, ummm not sure .....

Want this
this shirt but I have a maison scotch one very similar already so will be good

Brilliant bargains here - especially for anyone looking for just ballerinas , satchels, and Kate spade bags and codello (love codello hats and scarves) [[http://www.theukedit.com/flats-women/-footwear/just-ballerinas-women-s-leopard-print-ballet-pumps-leopard/10801420.html look at these aren't they lovely?]
Some nice ash bargains and good deals on skin care and nuxe products mig thought of you.

marsha they have some fabulous bright ballet flats too I might have placed an order

Also did a sneaky AR order - have returned the teeny tiny incy wincy little parisiennes jeans - anyone in a 23-24 look out for them ! Hopefully they won't much up the refund.

Righto - busy day planned - house sorting, shopping (feed the family type not fashion) climbing wall with dc, work, .... And a browse ST Style and the oscars style later tonight after my run...... Starting Pilates tomorrow morning.

Oh, and a slightly stylish question for you all - dd (6) needs shoes/ footwear and some tops and tees But is really fussy about her feet.... Even getting socks on is a battle. any online ideas - I d like to do an Order and try all on at home as it s just a nightmare dragging her around the shops. She s really tall wears stuff that s generally a year older than her age, but she s slim so difficult as lots of stuff tends to be so wide on her. Maybe I need to do a separate s n b post on it, hope you all don't mind my asking on here.

LinusDKD · 03/03/2014 11:25

for bonsoir

shopafrolic · 03/03/2014 11:29

Turquoise I read that as climbing the walls with dc and thought "God I can relate to that!" Blush
Off to look at links

Umlauf - where did you see Mih Marrakech s on AR - I ve been looking for some to replace my New Yorkers-- off to find ...

Linkus ... I was like you glasses, shy, middle of the bus :)
Hope everyone stays on her , it s nice - queen I think you have explained it well
Thanks everyone

shopafrolic · 03/03/2014 11:37

Do any of you have Zoe Karssen sweatshirts? Are they thin fabric?

QueenCadbury · 03/03/2014 11:42

No time to look at links as too many chores to do. Boo.

But turq my dd is tall too and it's a nightmare finding stuff long enough that doesn't look massively wide. I get a lot of her stuff from next as I can do a big order without the faff of paying and easily return it. And it's next day delivery. I don't buy her a huge amount from m&s as I don't like a lot of the 6-14 range. H&m tend to be good too as her age will be 6-8. My dd is now in the 8+ age and quite frankly the stuff for older girls is dire. Shoe wise I always struggle and end up buying proper eg stratrite etc as the only things that ever fit properly.

Umlauf · 03/03/2014 11:43

Sorry turquoise they've gone! I've just checked. they were in the outlet section, asos have a few colours here though.

LinusDKD · 03/03/2014 11:45

That Leo DiCaprio link is hilarious!

I might have mentioned it on MNV before but has grown better with age. Never liked his babyface and squeaky voice when he was young but now...well hello Mr. DiCaprio!

shopafrolic · 03/03/2014 11:48

Not to mention his huge @@@@

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 03/03/2014 11:54

Ah yes, how could I forget about that! Grin

Stokey · 03/03/2014 11:57

NIce links Turquoise

For my skinny girls, I find Gap & Petit Bateau quite good. Things like M&S, H&M, Next are always massive on them.

Zara comes up quite small too & has some nice girls clothes and have got some nice stuff from Vertbaudet, very reasonable.

Am not sure about length though as dd1 is just titchy everywhere - only just growing out of her size 3 clothes at 4 & a half.

shopafrolic · 03/03/2014 12:26

BTW have you noticed the Outnet ads have disappeared? :)
