Whilst indulging in some disco and Gracie bag envy bag porn, came across these. Don't normally go for metallics, but the colours here are so vibrant. Love the style too.

Shop, hope you manage to get out today. One advantage of a boy is that in an emergency it is easy to find a corner to wee in. (DS, not you obv!)

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 20/02/2014 09:34

Morning all

Speaking of DMBL40 I loved her post yesterday on M&S bags. Went on the website and there are so many nice ones!

I did a survey this morning on the outnet - asking me what I thought of adverts on websites and their site in particular. Took great delight in telling them that I didn't like the Fiat ads and also that I don't see them anymore (I assume due to ad block software, or have they gone for everyone else too?)

Because I really liked the article about Amanda Staveley too. Am really impressed with the whole magazine and will buy again, I like the fact that it's 2-monthly as well.

shopafrolic · 20/02/2014 09:38

I filled that out too Blair told them I thought the site looked like a Fiat site and not a clothes site. Hate it. I still get the ads so your software must be working.
It really frustrates me that I have to go through 11 pages of just in items now instead of 7 or so because the ad panels are so big....

Mignonette · 20/02/2014 09:38

Vogue are very right to be worried about Porter. Companies would rather keep their products on NAP than in Vogue.

Decameron · 20/02/2014 09:44

I'm hoping ins co will cover it as the handbags were the main reason I took out personal insurance as well! I was lucky that my train ticket and keys were in my coat pocket and I did have my wallet in the Gracie but put it back in the kids' bag out of habit as often I use the pliage by day, I will have to revert to doing that!

It's a lovely colour, Shop, thanks, but I really liked the chain and leather strap on mine.

I've been putting off training DD2 properly until it's warmer, I feel a bit mean as she keeps asking me to buy her knickers.

Jaeger have some gorgeous new silk blouses in.

Decameron · 20/02/2014 09:45

I saw Porter on sale yesterday, will buy it later now you've given it good reviews.

shopafrolic · 20/02/2014 09:50

shopafrolic · 20/02/2014 10:02

Nice shopping Blair
What else is there to do on a rainy day when you're feeling thoroughly miserable but indulge in inappropriate shopping? I present weather inappropriate shorts

BrandyAlexander · 20/02/2014 10:03

Hello! Quick and v big hugs for Shop and Decam. Been chairing an all day meeting since 8am. Totally shattered. Back later. Need to pack as ship out tonight.

Ps Blair- I had the (v expensive) Bentley dress for a YEAR before I finally found an occasion to wear it! Fate was being kind to you!Smile

shopafrolic · 20/02/2014 10:05

Own up who got this? I LOVE IT

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 20/02/2014 10:07

Yeah novice I don't regret not getting it now. I think I could get away with a dark version in my office but the red one might stand out a bit too much....!

Nice shorts shop! Just think, once the summer comes you'll feel smug you bought them now :)

Annianni · 20/02/2014 10:21

I was going to link that for you Shop, but am on my phone not laptop. It's fab.
I was doing pretend fantasy shopping... Need to get dressed and stop arsing about online

shopafrolic · 20/02/2014 10:51

Decam is a star. Thanks for my Le Pliage - it is great and the colour is perfect for my wardrobe. It's love - and I will probably have to buy another one! Thanks Thanks Thanks

QueenCadbury · 20/02/2014 11:37

Back home and 10mins into potty training we're already on the third pair of pants Grin.

decam thank goodness your valuables weren't in Gracie. At least she can hopefully be replaced easily.

anni I had thought of that jaegar bag but it's got gold hardware and it's a bit too structured for me.

shop hope you find a holiday. I'd have a look for you but I'm still searching for our summer holiday.

Turquoiseblue · 20/02/2014 11:48

Morning all!

There was a lovely jumpsuit in navy blue in h and m yesterday - absolute poly I m sure As it cost £15 - but a great but for anyone looking for a quick foray into the trend. I couldn't try it as was rushing. Queen I spotted your kimono s - they look lovely. sA was wearing the one with flowers and greens and pinks, it over all black and had bright red lippy- really striking.
Grumpy - the parisiennes went right up to the tops of my thighs but couldn't get my wobbly saddlebags into them so they are on the way back to AR. As is the NEON ouch my eyes pink clutch. Malene birger t shirt in black and white is a success and a bargain. I ll get lots of wear from it.
Ok aim this weekend it to set up eBay and offload all the stuff I don't need or wear anymore. Am hoping to clear space and offset cost of new handbag. Need a holy grail of fashionable, cross body, roomy but not too heavy, durable, everyday bag that I will want to use and adore. Not in black.
Am seriously considering if I have the commitment to doing a dry on it and getting a Pashli. But not sure

shopafrolic · 20/02/2014 11:54

holy grail for me

Drywhiteplease · 20/02/2014 12:25

Beautiful Shop

Drywhiteplease · 20/02/2014 12:26

Turq love "doing a Dry"! Grin.....Amber started it!

santamarianovella · 20/02/2014 12:55

shop I truly hope you get your holiday, you sound like you need it,and big applause for your ds,that's a good sign!

decam That must have been terrible hope you get the Gracie back, but good call on keeping keys and wallet in other bag. Do you know which equipment shirt you will get? I'm loving their gorgeous cashmere sweaters, But need a code for it.

queen has the countdown for your trip started yet?
I was crying when dd,peed several times on me,and when she was running around the kitchen and just stopped parted her legs and peed all over the wooden floor Sad.

QueenCadbury · 20/02/2014 14:14

santa Marrakech is in 4 weeks!

The lowest point of potty training dd1 was finding a steaming poo on the living room rug! Dd2 is doing ok-ish. 3 accidents but 3 wees and a poo in the potty. Not bad for 2 hours.

Can I just rant about grazia? What is their obsession with Jen Aniston all about. Every bloody week there's an article about her relationship failing.
