Who else has bought a copy of 'Porter', the new magazine by NAP? Giselle on the cover and interviewed (minus the smug "I gave birth in ten minutes and was back to work an hour later" soundbites), interviews w/ Jenna Lyons and Betty Catroux (a fave of mine and her husband decorated the Paris apartment of Lauren Santo Domingo) and at home with Uma Thurman.

The fashion is all lace, minimal tailoring and metallica-leather chains. Not all in one shoot!

We do it every year pretty much, and I'm hoping that I don't jinx it by saying that perhaps ages 4 and 8 will be easier yet. Much easier than 13 months for eg.

Dry, the pins won't be anywhere near your inner thigh, as it's the outside leg seam that you'll be pinning.

The inside seam is usually the double sewn one.

linus I'm like you,I want to go either to the US or Australia,but I cant face traveling with dd for long haul flights,and i know that dh wont help at all with her and claim to have a headache and need to sleep it off Angry, so we are just sticking to short flights for now , .maybe when she is a bit older.

Exciting Marsha, hope you have an amazing time.

Was really happy with today's outfit - navy lace pencil skirt from Mango, yellow Marni t shirt, chocolate brown Zara cardigan, tights and clarks monk shoes. Liked the colours! Now home and slobbing in pyjamas but just remembered I have to go out again later.

Decam love that bag, practical and gorgeous.

mig the magazine sounds interesting, will look out for it in shops!

Anni I'm seriously considering altering my jeans???am wearing them now so comfy but can grab quite a bit of fabric Hmm am currently shortening a lovely classic cream shirt from FCUK that has always been way too long on me. Might do the jeans while I have my machine out not after I've had a glass of Wine though

I am SO MAD. SO MAD. I'm sure you'll remember last night's drama with the beggar? Well, today in town, THE SAME GUY started hassling me for money again! Phoned the police and reported him again and am waiting for a call back for them to come and take a statement. I'm so upset and angry that they just don't seem to have to have the power to stop him and others like him Angry

Anyway, in bargainous news, I grabbed a pair of BNWT black velvet, leather lined hi-top superga in the charity shop today, £7!!

I know I should be focusing on S/S but I couldn't help myself when I saw this

I have been looking for a nice bobble hat all winter and this one looks like the perfect blue and it is by my new favourite brand Chinti & Parker.

I love the sound of the colours blair navy with bright yellow always makes me happy. Is it you with the gap windowpane jumper and modest boobs?! I'm wearing mine now and had to change to a minimiser! Im SO conscious of the windows becoming doors over my bust Blush

Just picked my leather shorts up from the zip-mender, yay!

Today I was treated to lunch by a friend, I wore my boden bistro crop trousers with a massimo dutti beige crochet top and my Louis Vuitton mumsnet scarf, and her new puppy ATE my scarf Shock

I'm really mad, but she was treating me to lunch and I did know the puppy was coming... And it isn't totally ruined but has got teeth marks in... WWYD?!!

Wow umlauf those are expensive scarves! Didn't your friend offer to replace it when she saw her puppy had ruined your scarf? I would have done even though I have always hesitated about buying one myself as they are £££

No word about the police Umlauf so I don't think they'd caught up with him yet. Hopefully a second complaint will make them more inclined to get out there and find him. He actually had the nerve to tell ME I was rude when I said no and told him to leave me alone!

She didn't but then she is the least fashion person ever and has no idea it was £, and I know she can't afford to replace it, but neither can I. Also I feel bad because my reflex was to whack the puppy across the nose Shock And I had already got a hole in it when I stupidly tried to iron it (I cannot be trusted with nice things, clearly!)

It was a gift from my ex so I'm not overly attached to it.. It just goes with everything!!

Thanks everyone for good wishes! Smile. I know re tomorrow, it takes a lot to drag me from a Vogue mn. Turns out it takes leaving the country on the same day. I will be in my pre-long-haul-flight state, some sort of state of calm concentration. I can't move far and do much other than clean. Grin
