Getting ready for dinner with friends and have no idea what to wear!

Today has been so hectic I haven't had time to think about an outfit. I'll probably wear one of the Equipment silk shirts I bought in the sales and haven't worn yet.

Mmm navy or cobalt? And with a skirt or skinnies?

dry where's Disco????

Turquoiseblue · 19/02/2014 18:10

Gucci Wednesday GrinGrin yippee Dry.

Shop - have often had to just give cc details as security when booking cottages and lodges. And once had to give cash (!!) security deposit for villa in st jean de Luz, I was so nervous about it ! Was sure we wouldn't see it again but it was fine.
Better check their cancellation policy of you re thinking of not going too , of they re being fiddly about the deposit you defiantly don't want cancellation fees!
Anni loved those jeans but you re right if you already have that wash.

Just picked up the loveliest suede/silkiest (bit I haven't checked the contents of material I admit- could be poly! ) kooples shirt, it s a dream hangs beautifully and has pretty lace detailing at the shoulders. Smile

QC- enjoy your holiday and the soft play.
Because /mig- ohh love a bit of gossip! Pm me too please.

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:17

Right , my shopping day debrief.
I went to Zara and had a very good look around. Was very tempted by this
in sky blue and an old guy said "suits you, buy it" which was sweet, but it's dry clean, not sure.
I bought a Gap merino crew neck in cream, boring but useful.....and surprisingly half price when I got to the till.
Gap skinny legging jean(I know....me?Shock) in the dark wash and a smaller size so they FIT properly. Have to try them on again at home just to make sure I haven't got something similar already .
And a boxy jumper in HoF in a pale blue, reduced to £20....will try to link.

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:24

was tempted

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:26

boxy jumper not as bright IRL???wasn't sure about the fabric content , but love the style so for £20 thought I'd risk it. Nice and slouchy.

Mignonette · 19/02/2014 18:27

Secret Sales have Jimmy Choo here. Tokyo navy suede high tops for £349 and some delicioso heels.

Mignonette · 19/02/2014 18:28

Jimmy Choo studded flats

Mignonette · 19/02/2014 18:29

Bugger -they didn't work. You need to join up.

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:33

these arrived today. Huge. Am exchanging. I want to love them because I need my wardrobe to get a bit edgier that will take some doing . Will decide when smaller size come. R and B have something similar in, but £££, and there are a lot of similar styles around, would be nice to be on trend at the beginning of a trend for once!

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:34

LOVE

Mignonette · 19/02/2014 18:35

Dry

That blouse is my absolute hearts desire but I would suit the yellow best. I can imagine it would show grease spots very easily and wouldn't be suitable if you have toddlers with sticky fingers.

But I love it.

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:36

And I practically licked the counter beautiful of this lovely stuff.
Phew I'm exhausted !

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 18:36

Will someone tell me why I'm incapable of putting lots of links on one post? Hmm

Mignonette · 19/02/2014 19:30

I'm incapable of writing everything in one post Dry. We are a pair.

Love garnets- my daughters birthstone.

Fedupnagging · 19/02/2014 19:55

Ooo, did someone mention gossip? Would love a pm if I'm allowed. (Bad day with ds2&3 today so need cheering up!)

Dry did you get the black disco? Sounds like you came home with a good haul today. Love the bee necklace you linked, it's just so cute.

Mig the jimmy choo flats are nice - did you order?

Am keeping my fingers crossed Shop that you crack the potty training.

shopafrolic · 19/02/2014 20:08

So we're not going away with Baby Friendly Boltholes ever again. I am sitting at my laptop crying. Anyone got any good UK holiday rentals they want to PM me? I have never needed a break more in my life.

libertychick · 19/02/2014 20:10

Shop IME potty training takes ages. DD has been out of nappies for months and still has accidents especially when she's tired or absorbed in something else and nowhere near being dry at night - I just keep spare knickers and leggings in my handbag and try not to get stressed about it.

Thanks Blair I got the details of the hairdresser I contacted from a board here. I have read about that guy in Birmingham - seriously considering a day out there!

Shop that's horrible. Pour yourself a glass of wine and join me on FT......

shopafrolic · 19/02/2014 20:20

This was where we were going to stay
www.thegranarysteyning.com
My grandmother's house is in the village - I thought it would be lovely to go back there (she died 20 years ago). Plus close to the sea, Brighton, a playground, a mini zoo and some Thomas the Tank stuff so lots to do for DS.
One week ideally - would take 5 days.
2 hours ish drive from herts / London max (dorset fine but not Cornwall)
That place was £850 - £750 would be better.
I've been stuck in the house cleaning up shit and wee for 3 days and I can't see straight to sort it. Sorry everyone :(
And Dry - I can't FaceTime - there's too much snot

Drywhiteplease · 19/02/2014 20:25

Oh Shop big hugs can't help with baby friendly hols, but can send lovexxx

libertychick · 19/02/2014 20:25
