Products you can't stand the smell of.

Hi,

I was thinking the other day about how important scent is in a product. I particularly hate the smell of palmers but I use it anyway because it really helps my scaly legs.

What products do you hate the smell of?

Most Soap and Glory- used to like but now cannot stand.

The 8 hour cream I brought it as it claimed to be this miracle product but it smelt awful made me feel ill. I had to wash it off.

Lush are very strong.

I came on to say Cocoa Butter! Also a friend bought me some Laura Mercier hand cream which has a very sugary scent to it, I can't remember the exact flavour but it's vile, which is sad because it must have been expensive but I can't use it, it's just awful.

Another one for Soap and Glory. Much to intense for me!

Not really a product, but the smell of Angel perfume makes me heave, Also cannot stand the smell of cocoa butter. Thank goodness for the fragrance free version!

The conditioner which comes with Nice and Easy hair dye. It smells of tom cat spray and is disgusting.

I got a cheap deodorant - it really smells like fly spray.

Along with all those other products. How anyone sticks lush is beyond me.

Love that nice and easy conditioner although can't remember smell. That Elizabeth Arden stuff is vile

Angel perfume . Horrible stuff

Carmex lip balm smells and tastes disgusting
Used to like soap and glory but really don't now (in common with a few other people on this thread)
And that dove extra strong anit-perspirant works brilliantly, but smells like cheap air-freshener

Oh I love the smell of lizzie Arden 8 hour cream and Carmex!

Can't stand anything cucumbery which rules out an otherwise lovely Estée Lauder face cream I was given as a present.

Mens' Nivea products smell cheap.

Toilet duck discs, bought 2 packs in Aldi gave them to my mum, Harpic toilet cleaner in the black bottle, again gave to my mum. Deoderant FIL uses, no idea what it is but he uses way too much.

I went out to pick up the scent free version but in my stupidity selected original.

I LOVE the smell of Elnett.

This is vaguely related: was having a bath in some Floris bubble bath MIL gave to me very sweetly for Christmas. It smelt familiar but I couldn't place it.

Realised this morning it smells identical to Fairy Platinum washing up liquid.

Don't know how to feel about that.
