Hello everyone! And hi to the newbies to. We took the kids to see a Christmas play this afternoon. They were suitably enthralled. Between that, the train ride (heaven for ds), lunch at Pizza Express, watching boats on the river and seeing a few Christmas lights, they're very happy. I am utterly exhausted!

I had a giggle yesterday as Grumpy called me stylish. I was thinking of her later when we put up the decorations. With my j crew matchstick jeans and j crew bateau top, I was wearing the most fetching reindeer antlers hairband. Oh and they jingle. Happy days

Shop, just to let you know that your clothes arrived in the village last week. They are being handed out to folks on Christmas Day. They are all beyond excited as they are desperate. They are so grateful for the quality of stuff they've got, too ie clean, in good nick etc so thank you so much!

Yes, that Celine Dion song was quite nice. And she didn't do those weird chest beating movements and other bizzard dance moves that are burned on my retina after seeing them once.

I think Tess is very badly styled almost all of the time. Somebody there really really does not like her. Not just bad choices but slot of it is all wrong for her shape and colouring. Not watching it yet as putting dc to bed, will duck out and not read any more now but not before saying to Sleep yes a purse, a clutch, some jewellery or a beautiful scarf would be my choices.

Santa hope you are feeling better, you sounded like you were in a lot of pain last night. I completely sympathise with you I am also suffering with a uti atm, tis horrible. Mignonette hope you are better too, I am also on the nitrofurantoin (sp) works really well but makes me feel so nauseous and bloated. I have suffered off and on with uti's for about 12 years, lately seem to get one every other month.
Not much s&b news to report other than I am thinking of getting some sam edelman petty boots, I am sure they have been mentioned on here and someone has them, maybe Marsha? Anyway just wondered how the sizing comes up. I am a 7 in shoes but usually a 6 in boots but I noticed they do half sizes.
I am looking forward to the sales too!!

I forgot to mention that today I tried on my ski trousers and they fit again! They are even a bit too loose!

I haven't skied (sp?) for a while because I have either been pregnant or looking after a baby but today we went to the mountains to escape the mist that has been hanging around the lake area all week, so I decided to try them on again.

Now that DS is nearly three we might try and put him in a kids ski class one day so see if he likes it. He refused to sledge today so that's not a good sign.

Justa I checked my size the other day as I am tempted to update in the sales. I think I asked for a 7 or a 40 in Liberty and they were fine, so my usual size. But check it's not US sizing if you order some.

I'm going to have to check out Strictly just for the dresses and shoes soon.

Had a lovely day at a party, saw some of the same people as yesterday we had a laugh and said hey it's been a fab weekend together.

marsha I am a crap skier (sp?) myself but it would be a shame for the DC not to learn while we are living here.

Flying visit. Back later. Been with friends in Cambridgeshire today - so nice. DH's best man and family, so nice and chilled. We all went to a candlelit carol service in an old church in their village. DS was enthral led - feeling proper Christmassy now. Wore my Vince sweater (best AW buy apart from peacoat I think), Paige straight legs AGAIN, Hobbs black heeled boots and M&S coat - lots of black eyeliner and red lipstick and nails. Ho, ho, ho!
Novice that's so nice to know - much more inspiring than taking to a charity shop! When do you want another lot?
