Calling on style and fashion fanatics, this is the space for frivolity and fun (though it gets a bit tense at sales time) Wink. All welcome.

Six bags of presents wrapped, about four more to go I reckon. No cards here, don't have anyone to send them to and haven't received any. Food shopping list being written ready to go in my purse for the last supermarket trip before christmas day. Christmas dinner is provided by MIL (who has also very kindly invited my DB to come along so he isn't on his own on christmas day) but I am in charge of sorting boxing day dinner out as that's second christmas for my DS as he comes to me for the day. I am not stressed and I do not need Wine yes i DO

Still laughing at the idea of 'angry myrrh' I think Dry should temporarily change her name to that for the festive period. Xmas Grin

Brilliant weight/inch loss One! Has it been hard work? I'd be the world's worst dieter - as soon as something becomes off limits, I crave it to the point of desperation so I am in awe of anyone with the willpower to stick to a diet.

I've missed the angora thread, was it about rabbits? I'd like a nice soft shell pink angora sweater to go with my leather wrap skirt, but from the sounds of it, it wasn't a thread comparing sweet angora sweaters...

After checking Pink Peonies today I now want something that looks just like this but considerably less spendy. I also want some black ponyskin ankle boots, either wedges or Pistol style, but again without the ££pricetag. Any suggestions?

Grumpy I honestly haven't felt like i was dieting at all. I really have found it easy and the results speak for themselves. I have had loads of great advice from Sleep and encouragement from all you ladies on thread so instead of it feeling like a chore, it's felt easy and normal. I haven't craved anything at all, in fact, I've totally lost my taste for anything sweet altogether!

grumpy I think someone on the all worn out blog recently bought pony skin boots possibly from m&s if I remember?

Grrrr, to you all who are organised for Christmas. I've realised that I don't even have enough wrapping paper. But at least I've booked an online slot for my shopping next week. Soooo much to do...

Just trying to decide whether sequins will be too much for the local curry house...

Xmas Grin grumpy
I'm having problems seeing Pp blog Xmas Hmm

This morning I got dressed for work, then saw Sue in her dress/long cardi combo 8.05
this outfit 8.07 got changed into my equivalent....anyone else do this or is it just me?

On the wine, painting nails. Bad combo?
I know what you mean about not craving stuff One. I haven't been doing the same as you but I don't miss sweet stuff and fruit juice etc. found myself having mango for breakfast today - didn't even question it.
Just need to get my back sorted and then I can start exercising. You won't recognise me!
We're having problems potty training DS so I thought we'd made huge progress when he asked to put pants on after his bath. He then sat on the potty and we'd through his pants Hmm think we've got some way to go!

Oh Marsha that's lovely. DDs roller disco "party" tomorrow night......last year we took a group of her friends ice skating, one of them went to A and E in an ambulance with DH , feeling slightly nervous! Xmas Sad
The "parties" get easier the older my kids get. This year all I've done is buy 8 lush bath bombs, a One Direction cake from Asda and pay for them to go to a roller disco.Sorted.

Just checking in before I fly tomorrow... Christmas here we come!!

Thank you liberty for the Christmas thread Xmas Smile

one congrats on your amazing weight loss! You must feel so proud! I'm down past my Christmas target so am thrilled (but I have breastfeeding to help me) and only have 4lbs or so to go to wedding-day weight, it feels brilliant! I don't know if I've missed a previous post but what plan (if any) are you following?

marsha that party looks amazing, I'd love to be a 4 year old guest there!

amber how frustrating, still the suspense will make the big day all the more exciting.

shop just had to empty the fridge of cava and do my nails with the Gel kit and they are ruined!!!! Hope you have had better luck than me! Wine

Have a good flight Umlauf

Party sounds fun Dry although fingers crossed for an ambulance-free celebration this year.

QueenC I saw the AWO post on the ponyskin boots. They weren't quite what I had in mind (and they were sold out anyway). I do love the pistols but just couldn't part with £400 and I'd dearly love wedges (this is starting to get like the eternal chunky black turtleneck quest)
