I'm trying to distract myself with Mumsnet! I stupidly agreed to help dh's cousin to look for a flat to rent in London, and I'm very close to commit murder , Every place we went to is not to her liking! Her top requirements for a flat is that it should be very close to a Starbucks, and it should be frequented by cute guys! We sat there for an hour scanning the male customers of Starbucks,and she finally said that she might consider the place,but not before checking out the male customers of sainsburys at 5.30 pm! When I came here to study my only requirements were that my flat should be close to my university!
I had two cups of coffee this morning! And im about to have another though I feel it should be something more stronger So if I sound bitchy later I apologise!

Afternoon all - frantic cleaning here in preparation for ILs arrival in the next few minutes. I didn't see the Acnes…… but would have held out for Pistols so no worried.

Santa - good idea to pin but will have to cull first otherwise it will take till next Christmas! A combination of hoarding & buying cheap makes for a stuffed wardrobe. So I won't say how many pairs of boots I currently have....

Hair done, layers at back shorter than usual, argh! DH loves, says rally funky, I'm not sure at all. But even if I call or go back they can't exactly add length back on so grrrr looks like I'm stuck with it. Cry. Hate it when not happy with hair. It is v swishy at least.

About to get ready for party número uno! Nails painted bright red, am going all greys/blacks/metallic with wang twisted skirt and metallic all saints top. Hoping not ott for day, with opaques and bikers?

Yes, foxy we now have matching cardigans! How short is your hair? You may find after a couple of days that you love it once it settles into its layers. I so can't wait to get mine cut tomorrow.

Have a good trip Linus. Belgium is lovely & London lovelier! Am sure your hair is great Foxy - my hairdresser says that hair goes into shock when cut & needs a few days to recover so it's always happier a couple of days later!?!

I have survived the flat/ potential boyfriend hunt!
She said it was fun,and that we should go bar hopping on Saturday
It was a real eye opener as to how early 20s girls are living these days,I offered some advice and said that she should just enjoy her time,and concentrate on her studies,and men should approach women and not the other way round, she was like and said if this is what I've done then I'm lucky! As the rules have changed!

I will ask her more on Christmas Eve! I'm really intrigued!
I texted dh and said that they should keep an eye on his cousin!
