I like it, but it is one of those you'd have to try on as it's quite a specific suit/doesn't suit shape. It would drown me, but in my head I'd be all 6-foot 20yo twiglike model.

A delivery van has just driven past my office door - how dare he?! Still waiting on all sorts of bits and pieces, I think I'm even losing track...

I too got a shipment confirmation email from BR today (Hurrah!) and the replacement ipod was brought by Mr Postie this morning, along with return plackie bag for unworking ipod to be returned in. Now that is how you do customer service; big bouquet for Apple and the lovely, efficient Rachel who persevered for an hour on the phone with me yesterday trying to fix the problem.

Good that Apple have come through for you Grumpy

Just synced the new ipod and downloaded the music. Plugged the earphones in and....no sound again. Got annoyed with ipod and manhandled it a bit...suddenly, there was sound! Realised earphones have to be shoved right in (they naturally stop slightly short if only pushed in normally) Thought maybe original ipod (which I'd had engraved and was now packaged up awaiting its return to Apple) might have had the same problem and d'you know what...it did! Sooooo....I have decided to keep the original, due to engraving and am returning other one which now has DD's songs on it.

God, I hope Rachel from Apple (or anyone else for that matter) doesn't read MNV. I am a Muppet. Muppet, Muppet, Muppet.

Grumpy I promise, it's an easy mistake to make. you have to push the earphones in really hard, I made the same mistake myself when I bought my first Ipod. you are not alone

Oh brief ah, I did not realised C&G lenses were also £300. So that's £600 altogether. Argh! I had in my head £400 (which is still ridiculously high!). Hate it when you find out stuff is even more expensive. Dragged dh all the way up there and he liked them too.

Might get some emergency ones til I get paid soon. Not sure, just so much for such a small thing. Could get a new bag / coat.

mig not sure bout WITs coat. I prefer fur coats to be more jacket like rather than long coats.
