Bet it looked great Dry. Like both of those pins and the styles are both ageless and timeless.

liberty it was via the house of Fraser brand event: look online. Coast itself isn't doing it though. John Lewis may be price matching. Ends tonight though. They're cut big: I'm a 10and could easily fit an 8, but have gone to 10 for slightly slouchier feel.

Foxy it is I who has the CdC code - PM me - I think it only has one use, possibly 2 (it says for 2 people on the text message). We are just on the way out to eat, but will be back by about 8pm - I'll check in.

Have had such a luxuriously lazy day, although it did include a brisk 3 mile walk with Dd2 and dogs this afternoon - I get cabin fever if I don't get some fresh air during the day. Hope you've all had lovely Sundays too.

My Coast top (in bronze) came from BrandAlley. You'll find the pin on my Considering board but the sale may have ended now.
Am walking and walking and walking. Pissed off with DH being lazy today when he's only around one day a week so have left the house before I explode. It's cold out here.

Thanks Carrie and Shop. Only left in an 8 in HoF - I am usually 10/12 in tops....I don't really NEED it Smile.
I had a quiet day Grumpy hair colour this morning, ironing and a walk in the afternoon - v boring!

Shop can you walk to a pub with a roaring fire? Nothing better infact my main proviso when walking. That or mulled wine and a mince pie at home, lovely and toasty.

DH has returned from his shopping sprint ......am trying not to snoop Grin

I never got dressed today. Total slob and slump in front of the TV. Never even bothered to get the newspapers which had everybody raising eyebrows. Watched some Christmas TV and now watching Strictly.

Ha ha at not snooping Dry. Good luck with that one (if you are anything like me).

Should have kept walking to a pub Dry but no. He's being a complete miserable arse ATM.
Anyway, moving on.
The Helmut Lang knit should arrive tomorrow…… and can someone remind me to send the Burberry coated skinnies back? I've had to hide them in the wardrobe and am scared I won't remember!

Have PM'd you Foxy

Gawd bless you Shop - you've just reminded me of the Uggs I bought for DD2 that are hiding under the bed in the guest room. I bought some Celtic ones I think she'd prefer and the Uggs have to go back to JL. Had you not just said that about your Burberrys I'd probably have discovered a £130 pair of Uggs under the spare bed on Christmas eve!

Is shooting season over soon Shop? Hope you are feeling a bit better after your walk.

Linus Cos has been my big fashion discovery this year. Great clothes, look much better IRL than they do on the awful website. Impressed with the quality too and lots of natural fibres.

Laughing at the forgetting to return stories, I am guilty of that too on occasion.

20% off everything on asos, and 7% cash back for next three hours. Have ordered jeans and jumper for DH Christmas.

Grumpy thanks so much for code but its not working, it must either be linked to your account or single use if someone else has tried it. Nevermind, will keep stalking object of affection for sales!

Marsha it's the cobalt pash, can't wait to unwrap it!

Drywhiteplease · 01/12/2013 20:53

Hang on Foxy thought you already had the pash Confused

I need to empty the spare room wardrobe. I've been buying birthday and Christmas presents for ages and shoving everything in there....not a clue where I'm at,need a sort out yikes....... DH's pressie has been in my car boot for 2 weeks, mustn't forget to take that to London for Xmas

Dry we've got presents stashed everywhere . DP is banned from going in my wardrobe and drawers as his presents are stashed in those. I have to start wrapping stuff this week or it will never get done! Everything's being done in brown parcel paper and white and red ribbosn with candy canes tied on them. We worked out that the amount we'd need to spend on wrapping paper would buy three more gifts that we need to get!

Report
MarshaBrady · 01/12/2013 20:56

We put the presents under the tree. Because they look pretty! Will have to trust the four year old.

foxysocks · 01/12/2013 20:56

Ordered it in the sales dry but its a birthday present so have been v restrained and left it all boxed up ready for tomorrow. Bedtime soon! It's DDs birthday tomorrow too, such a nice day for us.

I like parcel paper too One. It look very cool and modern. Or I use plain bright coloured Kraft paper tied with Butchers twine. I have bought Gingerbread Man patterned ribbon from V W Rouleaux for some gifts- bit indulgent I know. Otherwise it's the red Butchers twine.

This is what I've bought for some people-

DH -a snowboarding Coatigan type thing from winter sports shop and an acoustic bass guitar plus various luxe bottles of liquor-English Whisky Co whisky for DH, Slamsey's Blackberry gin and Marmalade gin plus Old Salt White rum.

DD- Purple metallic leather Zatchel, loads of baking books and equipment for her Patissiere course.

Son and his GF -a dressing table that matches their new bed. Navy mini Zatchel for GF, Leopard print bedding for son (a joke-he likes the Austin Powers irony) and a new Gecko house.

Plus stockings for all with foodie stuff for DD, good coffee and teas for DH, We all have bottles of Christmas bubbles to blow too. They get socks, boxers, lipbalms, bottles of chile sauce, luminous glow stars for ceilings and other fripperies.

Grand Theft Auto, skate shoes and chili products for DD's BF.

Books for my two nieces-fashion ones for the older and baby ones for the younger. Plus Stella McCartney scarves and mittens on sale for them both. They live in cold mountainous Germany so get loads of wear.

Slate Tray with antler handles for Mother and enormous hamper of chocolate for StepF- he adores chocolate.

Hamper of food products for close friend and husband.

Good aftershave (Sel Marin by Heeley) for nephew.

Third niece has some Caran D'Ache drawing pencils (doing design based PHD and likes to hand draw) and a cashmere scarf and beanie as Scotland is super cold!).

Going to have to buy some smaller jeans, my current ones are bagging and sagging all over the place. Will check the under bed storage bags first and make sure there aren't any smaller ones hiding in there before I buy any though, don't want to buy too much new stuff while I'm still getting smaller
