Unlauf you will look so gorgeous at your son's christening in that lace number, and for NYE you can never be too over dressed IMO (see my birthday card!Grin)

Am feeling almost on top of Christmas ....only just.

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 22:28

Oh and Shop that's bad about brand alley! hope you don't loose your money.

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 22:30

And Queenc the package is v exciting. Can't wait to see what you all get for christmas

OneLittleLady · 11/12/2013 22:33

Dry I wish I had a bath in the flat purely for that particular Molton Brown stuff. Sadly, no room to have a bath fitted.

Thank you all for you positive and kind about my incredible shrinking that's been going on lately. I feel very privileged to have you all cheering me on Xmas Smile

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 22:38

Oh no! look

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 22:40

Those of you using IPads, do you use the app or go into the MN site?

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2013 22:40

Shop these ones blk dnm. I got them when they had the extra discount, not sure how much exactly now I think. 20 or 30% off that.

Good work One.

Thanks Dry!

RubyLovesShopping · 11/12/2013 22:41

Would it be very wrong to tweet your dissatisfaction here? Not least to prevent blog followers from making purchases that will not be honoured.

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 22:46

Should is email Avril?
Btw, I know this doesn't help you shop but, always buy online on a credit card, not a debit, because for purchases over £100 where the company doesn't fulfil their part (ie they go bust) the cc company will refund the amount (consumer credit act....somewhere) removes wig, your honour

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 22:49

Dry that's not good......you know her don't you? Worth a word? The Facebook comments are truly awful.
Yup, paid on barclaycard so hopefully will recoup if there is an issue. Gutted as had planned that to be my Christmas top so will need to think again.
I never bother with the app - go in via safari.

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 22:53

Have sent her a message.
Bloody BA spoiling your Christmas outfit, and it was such a lovely top too.

OneLittleLady · 11/12/2013 22:55

I will never buy from BA again after the complete and utter farce it's been trying to pin them down about my order. They now tell me it's with the delivery company but it's taken weeks of chasing them, through every means available to get them to answer me. Never again!

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 23:07

She's taken it off....phew. Their FB page is terrible!
Shop I can lend you a "invoice" Xmas jumper for Christmas Day Xmas Smile

Drywhiteplease · 11/12/2013 23:07

"Nice" dammit

libertychick · 11/12/2013 23:08

Wow, that was a quick response by Avril!

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 23:15

Good for her. I'll be interested to hear how they explain that away......
Not sure what to do. I've emailed customer services and got generic email back. Facebook posted and tweeted - no response. Should I just contact barclaycard?

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 23:17

They look great marsha - bargainous

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 23:18

dry thanks for the offer! Grin but I may just console myself with a visit to the dressing room tomorrow AM while DS at nursery.....

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 23:25

P.S. If SGS has any leverage with brand Alley then I can happily supply my order number! Grin

QueenCadbury · 12/12/2013 06:48

Morning. Thanks for all the sash window advice. We have locks on but they were put on by previous owners so no idea how effective they are. I think I may get the police in to do a check. The bastards have been breaking windows and then using intimidation techniques ie staring their victims out when they wake up so I'm thinking of window grilles as we're unlikely to need to use the dining room as a fire escape. In the interim I'm going to try and get a lock put on the dining room door. We've decided if they get in then we want as much time as possible to get the kids and barricade ourselves in our room. As you can tell we're both really freaked out.

Anyway onto fashion news, marsha the dress looks stunning. If you feel comfortable in it definitely keep it.

I'm trying to persuade dh to let me try the coat on now so if I don't like or it doesn't fit then I can try and exchange before Christmas. He won't let me!

Umlauf · 12/12/2013 07:52

No bath here either one it doesn't seem to be the done thing in modern Spanish apartments. I could have throttled everyone who told me to have a nice relaxing bath at the end of my pregnancy.

What happened with SGS this morning?

Bless DH, he has very sheepishly told me his Xmas present to me was from brandalley, and he is very sorry if it doesn't come and is looking for a backup. He has not had a response to his email, and isn't the type to go on the rampage. This means war!!

(It also means no Balenciaga, sob! Perhaps he's saving that for my birthday...)

Drywhiteplease · 12/12/2013 07:52

QueenC that's horrid. Grilles sound like a good idea. Do you have an alarm? We put ours on downstairs at night.
It's freezing....big frost here so I'm going to wear my birthday down parka M and S
Have a good day all.

Umlauf · 12/12/2013 07:53

PS, marsha another vote for keeping the dress! it looks amazing on you!

OneLittleLady · 12/12/2013 07:57

Morning all. That sounds horrible about the burglaries QueenC

Umlauf tell DH to PM BA's facebook page with his order number, it seems that's the only place people are actually getting any kind of response.

QueenCadbury · 12/12/2013 08:15

The barbour is perfectSmile. I eventually wore dh down telling him how disappointed I would be if it didn't fit and I couldn't wear it at new year. He said that he wouldn't be cross with me if I tried it on but would rather I didn't. The minute he was out the door I was unwrapping the packaging Grin. All is forgiven for the chocolate fondue Grin
