Off out for lunch with an old work colleague (with DS) in tow.
Wearing my new Paige straight legs - first outing (weird wearing straight legs again). Cream AV sweat (tea stain removed!) with lace silk vest/ Will wear biker and Zara scarf - just need to find footwear…….

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 10:26

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 10:29

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2013 10:29

Thanks heaps Shop, yep will avoid. Sounds terrible.

Have a fabulous lunch!

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2013 10:30

Yes perhaps. Don't want to go through that again!

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 10:32

Just checked back and I ordered the Coast top from there………25th November - it said orders could take a few weeks. ARSE. Best I start chasing.

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2013 10:39

Oh no, what a pita.

shopafrolic · 11/12/2013 10:44

Have emailed, Tweeted and FBooked - looks bad….

OneLittleLady · 11/12/2013 11:07

I would definitely stay away from them Marsha I have an order from 4th of November that is still outstanding and they can't tell me when I will get it Xmas Hmm I've been bombarding their FB page as no one answers the phones when you ring

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2013 11:46

Argh for both of you, makes me feel a bit ill when you realise.

Just turned the corner to DHL with Matches parcel. Love that! Forgot how pretty the marble box is. Will try on later.

OneLittleLady · 11/12/2013 12:23

Oh, what did you order Marsha? I can't remember you saying Xmas Confused

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2013 13:10

Rag & Bone dress.

Quick try on and got the right sizes, whoop. But still need a proper look when I have time.

I got that exact same e-mail when I e-mailed them Shop and never got any other response from them until I started PM'ing their FB page. Don't even bother trying to phone them, they don't answer no matter what option you choose on the automated menu.

QueenCadbury · 11/12/2013 14:37

I'm assuming it's ambers artic psrka which I sent a link for to him. He had said it's too expensive but has obviously had a change of heart...

shop that's such a crappy email. Obviously just gets churned out to everyone.

OneLittleLady · 11/12/2013 14:39

QueenC maybe the suspected chocolate fountain was a way to throw you off the scent of the barbour package?

Mignonette · 11/12/2013 15:08

Have heard they are going bust so avoid, avoid.

Hello everybody!

Sitting here freezing despite furry UGG clogs that I found under the bed! They are hideous and I would never ever leave the house in them but they are warm and make a lovely horse like clopping noise on the kitchen tiles.

Just ordered another load of books I won't have time to read and I used to get through at least two-three a week. Somehow. Staying away from the clothes as going to Winter Wonderland/Covent Garden/The River with two children and one of their partners in tow on Friday. It is going to be expensive. What's the quickest route from Covent down to the river-straight down via Trafalger or can anybody recommend another walking route? Want to get as much sightseeing of beautiful London in as possible for sons GF who hasn't been up to town much. She is so excited.

They want to take a water taxi up to Tate Modern and I'm not keen as worried it'll sink and its too cold for swimming.

Who now fits in the size 14 Debbie Harry vest top she bought months and months ago and it didn't fit, in fact nowhere near fit as I couldn't get it over my boobs? ME that's who Xmas Grin

Umlauf · 11/12/2013 16:08

Whoop whoop onelittlelady !! Celebratory Wine

OneLittleLady · 11/12/2013 16:12

thanks Umlauf I'm over the moon! it feels good to know I can buy 'normal' sized clothes now instead of having to make do with the pitiful options in the few stores that sell plus size in my town. I can't wait until my weight settles and I can splurge on a whole new wardrobe! Xmas Grin

LinusDKD · 11/12/2013 16:50

mig walk from CG down to the Strand and the cross Waterloo Bridge. From there it's a lovely walk along the Tames to the Tate Modern.

Mignonette · 11/12/2013 16:56

Thanks Linus. I wanted a 'Greatest Hits of London' walk for her and that sounds like the best option. This is a hard time of year for her as she lost her Father only 18 months ago and misses him terribly. This'll make her so happy.
