Yes I think she is being stitched up. Somebody told me a couple of months ago that this was imminent. Saatchi admitted today he had 'no evidence or proof' but my understanding of the law is that you can say what you like during a trial and nobody can sue for libel/slander until afterwards. However it is silly to say that her career in the USA is over as her co-host Antony Bourdain is a self confessed ex heroin injector and addict. Not harmed him.

My Niece is living in Glasgow and we cannot get in touch w/ her. Am hoping she is merely off radar as the helicopter crash is causing chaos.

Great night, lovely food, great company, DH's seemed to get on. Friend's DH even commented that he thinks us ladies have similar taste in clothes! All good. Night all xx

Morning Voguettes! I have had a busy few days, including yesterday spent with the interior designer. I was shattered by the end of it. Apologies to pin followers who are seeing endless duck egg bedrooms being pinnedGrin

Linus, thank you for asking lovey! Thanks Can't see the other coat on ipad so will get to PC later.

Shop you looked lovely last night. As did Marsha the other evening.

Welcome back Mig!

Belated happy thanksgiving to Grumpy and Mom.Smile

So Novice it appears to be just you and I up and at 'em so far this morning. I hope all the others are still slumbering and dreaming of lobster and champagne (I want lobster now and I'm not even dreaming).

Hoping Mig managed to get hold of her niece - I imagine the lines and signals around Glasgow last night were jammed.

OH HELP!

Just checked J Crew (on the off chance...) and they have the Quinn in red but only one size left - mine! However...

£200 to buy for me or $149 if I buy from the US site and have them shipped to my parents (ie half price). If I get any more sent to them though there is a strong possibility of being disinherited because I've taken a few liberties Blush. What to do? Are there any UK discount codes knocking about that I don't know?

Dry I've pinned the shoes. In a proper quandary! (You don't know my scary mum) It's almost worth the extra £100 not to involve them, especially when the fur collar tweed coat I 'forgot' to mention turns up on their doorstep.

I tried the HOLIDAY code Shop - it is US only, hence the huge differential and the reason for my dilemma. Thinking I might hang tight until Cyber Monday (says she of the itchy trigger finger)

Report
GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 30/11/2013 11:28

Just had a text from CdC with a secret 30% code for use before Monday. Not buying anything from there right now, so if anyone wants it, PM me for details although I don't know if it's a one-use or not, so first come and all that

Grumpy what is Cyber Monday?

Report
BrandyAlexander · 30/11/2013 12:11

Cyber Monday is first Monday in December where more money is spent via internet shopping than any other day of the year. It's quite funny, but u have taken Monday off to do my internet Xmas shopping and Xmas cards do I am a sheep!Grin

I am still in shock. I just popped into M&S to buy a few bits and pieces for dd for Xmas and spent £130. I almost passed out when he told me the amount! She only wants a doll costing £12.50 FFS!

Otherwise I am soooo excited by the dcs being so excited about Xmas. They were singing jingle bells in the car earlier and I suddenly got my Xmas spark. I am thinking of cheating and breaking out my diptique Xmas candle tonight! Poor dhGrin

Report
shopafrolic · 30/11/2013 13:39

Friend looked fabulous. An off white sequinned tee, with black coated skinnies, and a really good H&M rip off of these Floretes. A beautifully cut black jacket and wrap and Hermes cuff.
