I agree, having looked over my swatches, that the purple top I posted is the wrong purple and too dark.

I'm really struggling to find an outfit for a couple of nights out over the next few weeks. Please keep the autumn ideas coming ladies! Has anyone seen any nice going out tops? or simple dresses?

Are coated jeans over? I just thought they'd be more dressy over Christmas than wearing normal, plus they come in XL length, which excites me greatly lol. Hope the fit is okay, as I always find Next a bit dodgy.

Definitely brown, went and had a look in the shop. Free next day delivery to store, hope they don't disappoint.

Is anyone out there a vibrant autumn? If so, what lipstick are you wearing? I have no idea what to wear.

Sorry, a soft autumn here and not sure myself on lipsticks!

Anyone got any thoughts on this dress? The reviews say the red is 'too orange' but I'm not sure if it's still a little bright, I'm aiming for a brick red.

A couple of lipsticks to try for Soft Autumn are Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip colour shades Rose Petal and Italian Rose. These are both slightly shiny, so not for you if you like matte.
I'm an indeterminate Autumn (CMB) but both look very nice on me and aren't colours I would normally have chosen, being subtle rose pink shades.

^ I like that Topshop top! It looks the right green to me. What are you going to wear with it on your bottom half? Do you have a link for the rust short sleeve one? Rust is one of my best colours but I couldn't find it on the site. Thanks!

Sotirednow - planning on wearing with my new brown coated skinnies from Next, posted upthread about them yesterday.

I think this is the rust top, although its described as Berry, it looked very rust in the shop to me, although could have been the lighting I suppose top

sotired I'm a vibrant autumn and recently bought the Superdrug MUA Clinique chubbie rip off in Runway. Really comfortable on and only £3! It looks bright and orange, but then when you put it on, it's a lovely red without being too scary.

sweetmelody - this is what I'm struggling with too! Please everyone share your not black evening out clothes!

That dress is beautiful sweetmelody. I love it in purple too.

I ordered a purple mini from Boden (DH answered the door to the delivery driver and shouted upstairs 'it's ok Hop, Boden haven't gone bust yet!) Anybody would think I had a shopping addiction or something it's probably not autumn purple but it does go with lots of my autumn colours.
