If that link to the cords isn't working for anyone else, I've just found them in the sale>trousers section.

charitygirl · 22/02/2014 10:22

Who wants a cream blouse? Uniqlo have them in now (100% silk) for £40. The 'off white' is a lovely cream.

lougle · 22/02/2014 12:55

I'm so excited, I just bought my first ever set of scarves. My DH is in shock.

Not a terrific photo, though.

supadupapupascupa · 22/02/2014 13:18

supadupapupascupa · 22/02/2014 13:35

it's fine i found them Grin

Snowdown · 22/02/2014 14:35

hopefully have you tried the John Smedley sale? I got the spring summer 14 swatch colour card - he has loads of autumn colours - I know outside sale prices are high but often the autumn colours are the last to go in the sale.

ToffeeWhirl · 22/02/2014 18:46

How odd, the link works perfectly for me Confused.

Congrats on the scarves, lougle.

lougle · 22/02/2014 20:05

Thanks Smile They were a complete bargain - £12.96 for all four.

Aquelven · 22/02/2014 20:45

Hopefully really sorry to intrude but was wondering if you'd be kind enough to pop over to the Spring thread for a moment to shed some light on a quandary about contrast?
Sorry Autumns, didn't know where else to ask Smile

Hopefully · 22/02/2014 22:31

Lovely scarves!

lougle · 22/02/2014 22:35

Thank you, Hopefully Smile

They were really cheap from store21, but brilliant for someone new to the whole thing.

I am living in this infinity scarf in paprika at the minute. Makes my skin tone look lovely, and means I can leave the heating off for longer. Win win!

lougle · 23/02/2014 12:15

That's lovely, Hopefully - it's the colour of my brown scarf.

I love this tutorial video.

Emo76 · 23/02/2014 12:15

Thanks charity girl. Thaw uniqlo blouse looks promising though think I am after one with a little bit more detail (pockets perhaps). Might get it to try.

lougle · 23/02/2014 12:27

Thought merge! I meant: Your scarf is lovely, and the one the model is wearing is the colour of my brown scarf.

supadupapupascupa · 23/02/2014 13:58

I bought THIS today. I don't think strictly speaking it is a true autumn but it is close enough. I'm a deep autumn and I have to say it looks bloody amazing on!!!

Hopefully · 23/02/2014 18:20

Looks like a good one for toning in with autumn colours supa.

I am eagerly anticipating a work payment tomorrow so I can order new boots.

supadupapupascupa · 23/02/2014 18:51

woah! hopefully sparkerly Grin

ocelot41 · 23/02/2014 20:39

Really found that blog helpful supa - thanks!

ocelot41 · 23/02/2014 20:43

And I luff the boots Hopefully! No Monday blues possible in them!

Btw women, anyone got any good suggestions for Autumn casual trews that are not skinny cut? I really love the petrol cords but fear that on my pear shape they will not be flattering... I need to minimise thighs which are on the thundery side! Been looking for dark olive, chocolate, aubergine cords, moleskin maybe?

Seri77 · 25/02/2014 07:05

Ocelot I have no suggestions but hope to be looking for similar trousers once I have lost a bit more weight. I will let you know if I see any. I seem to be doing a lot of browsing at the moment.

Although I bought this cardigan in cinnabar after taking advice from posters on this thread, I also got it in this colour, which I hope is apple jade, one of my two star colours.

Lovely cardi seri! I have just done the same - it was only a stone but enough to make most clothes I had far too big. I was adamant I was only going to buy clothes that actually suit me from now on. It is a lot of fun, but also takes quite a lot of work - browsing, as you say, and sending heaps of stuff back to mail order firms. Good luck wuth your weight loss and I hope you enjoy building a wardrobe of clothes you feel fab in!

Hopefully · 25/02/2014 09:54

I am v looking forward to the boots. Not the most practical, but I love them!

Seri that looks like a pretty good match for apple jade actually, well done! I find it really hard to find.

I'll be on a trousers mission later in the year - I am making do with whatever I have in various sizes to get through the immediate post natal period. I quite like the look of the new cuts in Topshop, and they have a dark plum and a forest colour in a few of the cuts. They're a fraction dark, but pretty good as an alternative to denim blue/black without standing out much like brighter coloured jeans do.

Hopefully · 25/02/2014 10:02

Emo if you need a cheap interim shirt, this topshop one looks nice.
