At the moment the official position seems to be that CS says NL promised him something ten years ago and that she failed to fulfill that promise, and that her failure to do what she promised was so major that it caused him to strangle her, divorce her and try to destroy her career.
At the time he described the incident as a playful tiff and a minor disagreement.

There is also reporting that says CS's daughter feels abandoned by NL as NL was a mother to her throughout her growing up. If there was any truth in the Hillgrove blog - you'd think that CS and his family would be relieved that NL was out of their lives.
