Isn't this just a bizarre Trinny and Suze fashion shoot? I mean the photographer is practically in their laps. He almost gets an invite through the front door and all they seem to consume is one glass of wine between them.

And act as if they're totally oblivious to the photographer's presence. Grin Hilarious.

Didn't Trinny suffer from very low self-esteem and had confidence issues all her life?

I seem to remember her past relationships being fraught with unhappiness.

Seems like CS targeted her. Poor woman.

Joan we are discussing her fashion faux-pas on S&B with regards the jeans.

They are awful, I agree its as if her groin is trying to escape Grin

there's something cheap looking about Trinny's shoes - must try harder!
especially for a pre-arranged photo op

I think Trinny is 49 BTW

This is a pap set up. They are planning a come back and the carefully arranged 'opportunistic shots' whilst wearing the QVC clothing range is all part of it.

I guarantee there will be an announcement shortly about a new show/website/book/tell all bio.....

Truly cynical. And some people will fall for it.

BTW In the later photos was Susannah subconsciously re-enacting the Nigella neck grip? Looks weird.

Surely the death knell for the jeans and silky shirt mum uniform. All looks too small for her frame. Awful.

I used to love 'What Not to Wear' and it did make me look at what I was wearing and find a more flattering wardrobe. I think it was much better at the start of the series before they got into all the boob grabbing though.

I think Trinny should have worn patent shoes but I like the coat on her.
Yes mignon I noticed the neck-grip re-enactment - weird.

I must be the only one here then who actually thinks Susanna looks good in her outfit. Just because skinny jeans are in fashion does not mean that people should wear them if they don't suit. Her jeans may not be to other people's taste but they fit her and flatter her body IMO. Even though I'm a size 10 with slim legs, anything that fits tightly from my arse to my ankles makes my thighs look so much chunkier than they are, so I only wear boot-cut jeans because they suit me much better.

As a feminist I believe women should be able to wear what they want without risking being on the receiving end of bitchy comments about their appearance. I want to wear my boot-cut jeans without being judged by bitchy fashionistas. God I hate the fashion and beauty industry, it really does help bring out the worst in women. Sorry for the rant, I'm actually shocked at myself for how angry this thread is making me...I shall withdraw back into my hole (wearing my hideous and unfashionable clothes, LOL).

Trinny has a lot in common with Nigella.

As a feminist.

Yawn.

That's as bad as "as a mother "

But Livid, T&S are archetypal "bitchy fashionistas" themselves aren't they. Who never hesitated to judge the women who came on their shows. And this is S&B after all...

I'd like Trinny's outfit a lot without the huge medallion.

I don't think looking good is anti feminist. And the idea that women should bond in this warm flow if sisterhood is ludicrous. (Ask any sisters!)

Shit. Why does everything come down to feminism on this site these days?
You'd never have had a go at gina ford. Or sherehzde thingy.

I think the point is they make their living from being "style gurus". They'd be disappointed if we didn't notice their clothes, surely.

Susannah has very slim legs and a bigger top half, she might feel they look a bit spindly in skinny jeans.

LordPalmerston · 31/10/2013 08:59

Oh I think trunky legs. She needs a burka ;)
