Novice how do you stay so tiny with all these fab meals out?
A better night's sleep thanks MrsR - Marsha tipped me off to rolling a towel up under his fitted sheet and that seems to be working - he stayed in bed all night - phew!
Warm and sunny again here already - taking DS to a friend's house to meet lots of other mum's and kids for a picnic. Then chores later.

Thanks so much for birthday wishes, it was a lovely day with great weather, looking forward to lunch part two no dc. My family redeemed themselves by calling again (they rang on Saturday and I thought they'd forgotten!).

I'm in GAP boyfriend shorts, cream M&S tee, neon cord belt and Havs today - for crawling around with the kids!

Foxy I'm rubbish at social media.....keep forgetting about lurkers and I give out too much info. I read a thread that said there are some people on MN who keep spread sheets on posters to see if what they say tallies up. Apart from that being a bit sad, it's a bit stalkerish and freaked me out completely!

Hi everyone..and happy birthday Marsha and Liberty
You know you have too much stress in your life when you forget you have booked a holiday!

Radio silence from me because I am in Corsica /South of France on my holiday- a holiday that slipped my mind until two days before we were due to go. I had no interwebby this last week as travelling round the canyons of the south French coastline (Verdun) but now we are in the Citadel in Corsica, I have been able to post.

I'm really sorry for not posting. My niece is steadily improving- they said she had no swallow or suck reflex but bless her, she's trying valiantly to breastfeed and is off all her lines/catheters apart from heart/resp monitors. She is so so determined, has opened her big violet blue eyes and cries. My Brother has asked that i pass on his thanks to you all for your kind words and hopes.

My flowers lasted well and I have pressed the roses. The Statice has tooted too. I am due home the 31st and will read and catch up on all your posts. Love to you all and enjoy the British sun-hotter in the UK than here I believe!

I muddled the date up, wrote the wrong departure on my kitchen calendar (troglodyte) and because we drove down then got the ferry to Corsica, the dates weren't so ingrained in our heads.....The clothes the women and men wear here are so luxe and Parisien on vacances- really Riviera. They do dress like that, they really do with the sweater over the shoulders.....

Great links everyone and fab insights into your glam lives. I have been working, working, working (yawn). I went out on saturday night for a friends birthday and wore the infamous Zara skort, black silk vest, turqoise kimono and Jeffrey Campbell sandals. I also tried out a new lippie, Mystic by Sleek makeup. Lots of compliments.

I have another birthday to go to next week and fancied a summery, printed pencil skirt to wear with a v necked black cami and black, block heeled strappy sandals and plumped for this. I'm collecting tomorrow from HOF. Hope it fits!

Sorry to hear about the university One. Please keep plugging on, you will get your hard work rewarded, I do believe that- wise words from Paris. Sending my hopes and best wishes regarding your BIL too.

And BTW I am wearing gold braided flat sandals two years old from Carvella, a Khaki green mid thigh inverted pleat skirt from Red Herring, a silk sleeveless pleated vest top by Helmut Lang in a pale Primrose yellow and a scarf round my salt destroyed hair by Edina Ronay.

Happy Birthday Marsha!! Not actually the same birthday - mine was Saturday! But close enough . all for all the good wishes.

Had a great weekend - apart from getting all tearful on Sunday morning when few people cancelled on my birthday bbq - how sodding childish - I assumed I'd be above that sort of thing at 40!!! But never mind - the majority came, the sun was shining and practically everyone brought bubbles so happy times!

I have the colleague who gets long range forecasts - not at work today but will find out tomorrow.

My Me&Em order arrived too - same reaction as Decam ruched skirt is fab, the ruched top is really itchy so has gone back. Dec I tried the skirt with the Whistles Lena jacket as you suggested and it looks great

And the French Connection dress wasn't in the shop on Saturday. I wore black jeans and my lovely Agnes B shirt.

One I like your New Look dress and coat - I never spot anything in there. One of my friend's yesterday was wearing black trousers from NL, 100% cotton with gold ankle zips - they looked really, really good.
