shop, DS2 co sleeps with me ( i know, i know) and he's fallen out twice- thats a thud and a half terrible mother. I'm moving him to a cot bed in his own room soon: CBA with the nighttime thuds then, might have to leave him on the floor really terrible mother.
amber another loud n' proud fit flop wearer here when I do occasionally embrace my not so inner waynetta slob.
Thanks for all the me & em love people. Getting the haul as been very exciting. I'll need to experiment a la topaz, hopefully and amber on how to wear the dresses. Eek, that sounds a bit pathetic!! Blush
Happy birthday Marsha

Happy birthday Marsha and Liberty! I have decided to send the Winser trousers back. Having tried them on again today, they are a bit too big on the waist and gape at the back. There are no belt loops so can't wear a belt with them . It's a shame as they are a really nice quality, but if this thread has taught me anything, it is that it is only worth spending money if something is completely right. (Turquoise, I'd send back the dress if the fabric is always going to annoy you). Enjoy your Sunday, everyone.

I love that Liberty and Marsha share a birthday - they should rename it MNV day! Happy birthday Liberty hope you're having a fun time and have been spoilt rotten!

turquoise I would send it back as it's not perfect and for £90 it needs to be. You will find something you like better. Your links to sweaty Betty do not work for me and only take me to the home page.

Oh also turquoise I've never tried on a jumpsuit before so it could be disastrous but I'm thinking with some lush shoes/sandals and fab jewels it would be a great alternative a a dress for my 40th.

Happy birthday, Liberty and Marsha!

LeFreak, I love Me & Em too, most of my wardrobe is from there at the moment.

Topaz, I like the Winser clothes, haven't heard of them before.

Bummer about the R&B ballet shoes, Novice. I'm sure they'll exchange them no problem. Mine have lasted 2-3 years, I have various colours. Thinking of buying silver now.

Totally agree about the fitflops, Amber.

Love those bags and jumpsuit, Queen.

Sorry about the uni place, One.

Did a little bit of shopping this morning and ordered this top, leggings and grey jeans.

Love the grey jeans dec. I'd love some grey jeans but need to wait for gap to do a non skinny version (too lazy to try other makes).

I've just bought a vest (yeah, yeah, I said no more purchases...) but it's
iced lavendar and I've struggled with finding iced colours (there's a fine line between ice and pastel) so I had to buy it. Also managed to get dd1 some bargainous tees in the gap sale. And I only popped to the mall to get gift vouchers for the teachers!

Turquoise I'm a lot like you about some trends.......today I've purchased some Top Shop Baxters in white, at bloody last.....my transition into skinny jeans is complete!Grin

Have bought this coat as a cheap cover up, didn't want to spend a lot while I am still changing shape but it should see me through autumn at least

I have just had a quick read but haven't had time to look at the links. How come I have less time to read and post on MNV on holiday than at home?!

It was pretty hot here today so I wore my Asos cobalt pencil skirt, white Zara tee (knotted as it's superlong), cobalt Gigis, a Stella and Dot layering necklace and my Tiffany Elsa Pretti wave bracelet.

Sorry Liberty I forgot to wish you a happy birthday!

Right, I had a look at the cardi QueenC and it's more of a blue toned green than the HoC emerald - I'd say it's closer to pine. However I have a jumper from Uniqlo in that colour and it does work really well on me, but I am quite a swarthy winter. Size wise I would wear the S open and possibly the medium if I wanted to do it up over my boobs (which I wouldn't, ever, as I'd look like a librarian). Hope this is useful info!

QueenCadbury · 21/07/2013 20:17

Thanks amber. I've got a cardigan similar to pine green already and i really want a true emerald. Hopefully something else will turn up somewhere. That's very useful on the sizing though so at least I know in future to go for a small. I also would never button up a cardi-like you I would have to go up a size to stretch over my boobs!

dry I really like those block heeled ones.

Took DS for a run round the park as he was doing my tiny knackered head in. DH treated us to dinner out. Lovely impromptu family time. Was wearing Me&em maxi - it really is a winner - especially for post pasta tummy.
Hope the birthday girls are worn out and happy!

Lovely trousers, LeFreak, I like the sandals shown with it too.

I have the legging in navy, they are trousers really. Flattering on and nice and long, I'm tall. They are selling out so couldn't wait any longer!

Hello all! Looks like storms here today - hope so actually, as it is so humid! Think I will give the white jeans another outing today.

Happy birthday to Marsha and Liberty - hope you had a great time! How was the BBQ Liberty and what did you wear?

Shop how was DS in his big bed last night?

QueenC I think a jumpsuit is a fab alternative to a dress for your 40th, I think they look so chic but in a kind of relaxed way. Will solve the tights dilemma too!

Turquoise I agree with the others to send the dress back, the fabric mix would annoy me. Plus in your desription of it, it did not sound like you thought it was that great! Shame, as it looks lovely on the website. I read the blurb "silk rich", bit cheeky?

LeFreak how old is DS2? I also have DS2 in bed with me, he is so sweet and snuggly though I think it will soon be time to move him on as he moves around loads and ends up kicking DH and I Hmm

Dry good dress purchase. Never heard of the brand but they have some nice stuff.
