... please tell me what size you are and what your thigh circumference is (at it's biggest part).

I am a size 14 but still my thighs rub together and in this heat it's a total pain (literally). How much further do I need to slim down to stop this?! Always been chunky of thigh but surely it's not impossible for me? Currently at 26cm each! what should I be aiming for? 25? 24? 22? 21?

I refuse to even measure mine. Admittedly I am on holiday and do not have a tape measure handy but if I did, I probably wouldn't tell you.

Size 12, thighs measure just under 20" at the widest part. They don't rub together, but I think I have a fairly wide pelvis.

They have always rubbed, even when I was underweight according to BMI.

Ok, am chafing and sore...solutions other than my linen trousers please... Using sudocrem at the moment. :(

I work in the fitness industry, thighs look muscled but lean ish...actually they look a bit odd TBH.

Agree it is to do with body shape - as a teen with a BMI of 19 mine rubbed - dsis is nearly 6' and size 8 - no body fat anywhere apart from on her thighs - they rub.

9yo DD who dances 3+ times a week and has ribs on show and no body fat has hefty thighs too that rub.

I am not measuring my thighs but have always had this problem - even when a size ten.

BUT

I do have a solution.

I've been using roll on anti perspirant on my thighs. No chafing all summer. Mitchums 48 hour stuff.

I blame the parents

fear not though thigh rubbers this heat can't last for long!

Maybe it is also to do with our gait.
I'm not going to be able to stop watching myself in shop windows to see if I am avoiding chafing by inadvertently walking like John Wayne.

22" with no rubbing and a size 10, but I do have a massive (what i always thought was my arse but may be my hips?) which probably helps

I am 5ft and 8st 7lb, my thigh measures 21". They do not rub together.

Size 10 20 inches they don't rub but I do walk like a fella.

My thighs don't touch at all - 19 inches at their widest part (right at the top). I am 5ft 5 and size 8-10.

5' 3", size 10, thigh is 21 inches. They don't rub together
