Just bought that dress, thanks for linkage, Aaaaand...... The dress I 'lost' yesterday was back in stock AND as an extra small - yesterday I was having to order a small because it was the smallest available but wasn't ideal. Big, big bunch of to you!

To clarify, I bought the JCtew coral paisley dress. Also my toothpick jeans have finally arrived, as have the Jeffrey Campbell orange loafers. Haven't had the chance to try anything on yet as I'm too hot and bothered, but I'm happy with how they look. Shoes are a nice, orange sherbert colour and v soft suede. Made in Spain, too.

Liberty you wouldn't want to be me, I assure you! I am usually totally stressed out and sadly, have so much on my plate that I have very little for anything other than work, husband and kids. I have been hiding out in here for the last few months because its good fun, very little effort and I don't have to apologise to anyone if I don't want to talk because I am too tired. In the real world await a few peed off friends that I have just been too tired or too stressed to pick up the phone and talk to. Anyway, have a happy and glorious birthday weekend!!

Marsha is absolutely right, the weather too lovely to think about a/w and the sales are crap, oh and I have spent all the money!

I'm not dead, honest - just mad busy at work and home. Nothing too exciting to report, my Jimmy Choo clutch arrived and is amazing, has already had two nights out and been roundly admired. Only other purchase has been a Boden tee which has been v useful, oh and an epilator. Glam.

I went to the Next Christmas catwalk show yesterday which was surprisingly impressive. I think I've found my Christmas party dress! They have really upped their game; the statement jewellery was fabulous and there were some grey ankle strap shoes which were very Wang, am definitely buying. Was quite weird being surrounded by holly and ivy and given a goody bag containing a wooly shawl, furry stocking and bauble on one of the hottest days though!!

Have turned into a sartorial no-fly zone with this weather, took the kids to Richmond Park wearing fitflops today. I know, but it's hard to find sandals to walk long distances in right? Right??

Ahhh Novice I know the feeling about neglecting friends - last weekend in Ireland so many of my old friends turned up for my party. I have been reminded how wonderful they are and that I must make an effort to stay in touch. Like you I often feel too tired to make a call and hanging out here is just so much easier

I have a wee craving for a new dress for my bbq on Sunday!!! But I'll have precisely 23.7 minutes available for a run around local shops tomorrow. Going to target French connection and Gap and see what's there.

There are now 24 adults coming on Sunday - we have a TINY bbq!! Have decided to cook a big gammon and chicken tomorrow and serve mostly cold meat with various salads and just have a few token burgers and sausages. Will distract people from the lack of bbq meat with booze . Birthday cake for dessert with a big fruit bowl.

Amber I have been wearing fitflops for the walk to work - it feels good to get that off my chest - welcome back!

I bought a pair of fitflops last year.
Tried them on at home and felt like a knob, so I gave them to my mum.

Cut a hole in the skin, stick a funnel in... And pour lovely vodka in :o

Can be topped up over a couple of days.
But I think if you do it early enough in the morning, you could top it up later in the day.

Slice on Sunday and enjoy :)
