Dry I think it depends on the cut, as to frumpy-ness.

Marsha send both back if not perfect?

Poor dd Santa.

I did 10 miles on the bike last night, whilst watching an old MiC on tv

Annianni · 18/07/2013 07:31

Hope your head's ok Novice... what did you have to eat?

Annianni · 18/07/2013 07:35

One I think shorts wearability all depends on cellulite.
If you have nice smooth legs, then wear them with pride.

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 08:14

Marsha send them both back! Over £100 to spend on something perfect but if you really want to keep one - keep the jeans
Novice glad you had a fun night - outfit sounds amazing and I love how we're all trying different things after being inspired on here.
Am now looking down at my short clad legs and worrying about cellulite as I eat my breakfast.
Why is it that if it was this temperature in Italy or elsewhere I'd be fine, but here I turn into a hot and bothered old woman?

Well done on the mileage Anni that's really good going

OP posts:
Annianni · 18/07/2013 09:02

Sorry Shop :o
A mild dimple or 2 is fine imo.
The covered in cottage cheese look isn't.
(i've seen some scary sights recently)

me wearing shorts was one of them

MarshaBrady · 18/07/2013 09:13

Shop water. It's so much more soothing near a pool or ocean.

Ok maybe I will return top as it is also a bit big in places - arms, waist, but neck line is high so difficult with smaller size. Will try J Brands one last time, maybe get a photo of behind Wink.

MarshaBrady · 18/07/2013 09:15

And thanks for helping me decide! I must admit I'm seeing £ off and it's swaying me.

Anni well done on miles.

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 09:38

You're so right Marsha - I need to move to Amalfi don't I?

Morning all! Hangover has subsided!

We had a great night. We were in the private dining room and it was a canapés and champagne before and then 3 course meal. Delicious but I tend to be stuffed after one course so didn't do the gorgeous chocolate soufflé justice :(

Dh and I got there at same time and the look on his face and the wayhis eyes lit up when he saw me is still making me smile this morning.Smile First words this morning was to thank me for coming out to dinner and tell me I looked hot. Aaargh! silly me! that would have been a good time to tell him that the dress was in my secret Selfridges haulGrin

We didn't see any slebs as we were in private dining upstairs. Food was gorgeous. I might do a date night booking for the autumn.

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 10:18

Sounds wonderful Novice
Right sandals have arrived and I need your help wise Voguettes. They are lovely. Weirdly for the first time ever though one shoe does up to 2 holes along the strap, the other 3 - I checked the straps are equal - they are - and then took a tape measure to my ankles to find one is fatter than the other - this has never happened before so could I assume this is heat related? Anyway - I want to post pics and get your feedback as I really love them, but cost per wear will be low..... shall I brave posting straight to the thread? Grin

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 18/07/2013 10:20

do you think it's really obvious that they fasten slightly differently? I have the same problem with one of my ankles and I'm pretty certain no one but me notices

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 10:22

I don't think so One - the way they are designed the strap tucks back in on itself so I don't think anyone would see unless DH was worshipping at my feet! Grin

McNally · 18/07/2013 10:23

Do it shop!

Some nice bits on the Outnet.

Missoni flats.

By Malene Birger pink jersey dress.

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 10:25

Deep breath - here goes

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 10:26

I must be mad

OP posts:
McNally · 18/07/2013 10:28

Ha ha! Well done shop. Love them. They look perfect. Great pedicure too.

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 10:31

Thanks McNally - I did the pedicure myself

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 18/07/2013 10:39

Lovely sandals shop! Your DH should worship at your feet. Wink

And I agree about the pedi, very Envy you can do it nicely yourself.

novice it's nice when the person you love's eyes light up when they see you. Especially when you've been together for a while. It doesn't happen on a daily basis, but when it does it's butterflies in stomach time Smile

BrandyAlexander · 18/07/2013 11:33

Those sandals are lovely Shop. But.... how much longer is there of summer?

shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 11:44

awesome
Acne cashmere
Anglomania
sexy boots
Lovely bits McNally - if you're interested in Missoni flats though keep your eyes peeled on Secret Sales and the like - I got mine for £49!

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 11:45

Do you think they'll date then Novice?

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 18/07/2013 11:46

just so pretty

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 18/07/2013 12:00

I love those links Shop. Wish I'd got the acne sweater and the anglomania skirt!

Love sandals. Keep I say. Feet look fab.

Novice sounds like great fun.

Dry on linen, I always remember a friend looking Hamptons chic in white slim ones. But they were uncreased, perhaps cotton is better? Not sure.

Annianni · 18/07/2013 12:08

Love those shoes Shop.

I wanted them in the blue/black, but oos :(

The CoH are already on their way back to Donna Ida... how did I not notice that they are 100% cotton, with no stretch!?
And in the photo, they look slightly bootcut, like my Hudsons, but irl they are big flappy things.

I've ordered some James jeans straight leg instead.
