Bloody hell Dry what does that involve to start now?
Marsha outfit sounds ace. Shame about the work.....
I've been to the garden centre (glamorous right?) So no style news but family BBQ tonight so will risk a dress for the occassion. Perhaps the Me&em grecian. I sympathise with the cooking Liberty we've got 16 adults plus kids next weekend.

I hadn't posted for a while as I had nothing to say Grin. Outfits consists of whichever shorts and vest top is clean, no new purchases as am going to try very hard not to buy anything prior to London visit and no exciting nights out to outfit plan for!

Not enjoying the sunshine unfortunately but packing. Have I already mentioned that I HATE it with a passion.

I've put all our stuff on the dining room table (and chairs, and floor) and now it's up to DH to fit it into suitcases and in the boot of the car. Ha!

I could do with a drink but we have a 850 km trip ahead of us so maybe not a good idea.

Enjoy your evening out dry!

Your outfit sounds fabulous marsha, I hope the interview went well.

Oh shop it takes me exactly 45mins (inc washing and drying hair) to get ready......but I've got a free afternoon and I love just doing it slowly.....
Shower and hair....25mins
Break for cool drink
nails and Marie Claire will take at least an hour
Make cuppa ....20 mins
Then choosing alternative footwear to Gigis Sad could take a long time!
Titivating makeup can take a while too.
It can last hours...........
Grin

Yup, a very long way. But we choose to travel at night, that way the children sleep most of the way.

We usually leave after their bath when it's their usual bedtime, but this time we are leaving a bit earlier so hopefully we get there by midnight.

dry I am looking forward to getting ready for a night out in NY without having to rush because of DS and DD needing to be fed, changed, bathed and put to bed.

Not really....
I have red strappy sandals with ankle strap and a chunky but not too chunky heel which might look in between no too full on glamour.
Or I have black stilletto sandals for full on vavavroom...
Nude kitten heeled sling backs a possibility but always feel a bit meh in nude.
Or...v pointy LK Bennet red suede stilettos ...but so pointy I feel a bit Rumplestiltskin in them, damn sexy shoes though

Afternoon all...

It's all the bra threads, kicking us off page 1 how dare they

We've had an impromptu day out... school text at 8am saying they were shut today, so we went to the new sea life place in Manchester.
So glad I didn't make any cakes yesterday!

We took ds2 to the place last week when dh was off work and he loved it.

We've done lots a bit of shopping, had a go on the merry-go-round and just got home... both boys loved it.

I got a cardigan in the sale that I'd had my eye on, and a white vest to add to my collection.

Hope the interview went well Marsha

And that you're feeling better about the work thing today Foxy.

Is your house still tidy Sleep?

Have a fab trip Linus.

And have a drink for me tonight please Dry.

So sorry One, try again next year.

Who've I missed?

Rather you than me Shop and Liberty...
I love cooking but hate entertaining (luckily dh feels the same)

We've been invited to a party next weekend, but fortunately it's on the day that I'll start decorating.
I've told dh to go with the ds's and he swore at me wasn't too keen on that idea :o

lol Anni that made me laugh Grin

Interview was good, I am on shortlist apparently but, you know what's coming next... I'm not sure it is for me.

I think I'll hang around to see what happens with the flexible working from home one. Just much better (and more interesting work too) and I get to do the other stuff, which I don't want to lose.

I have a feeling the thread will be quiet now for a few weeks, good weather, school holidays and shops full of sales tat and just too hot to seriously think about A/W clothes - let's not have a repeat of last christmas though when we went quiet for a whole week and almost lost the thread!!!

Dry I love the afternoon of the night ahead. Especially if I've the the time to swan around sans dc before hand Grin

Shop 16 is loads. What will you cook?

Linus love that dh has to fit it all. Good one Grin I hope the trip is as good as it can be.

Ah Grumpy what a shame about the J Crew dress.

I know Liberty hmm well, I watched the worst movie last night Cloud Atlas I do not recommend. Also I am planning some seriously long lunches this holidays and really looking forward to all of them. Grin

I might buy one last little summer dress.

Shop sounds yum!

Santa isn't it the best? A combination of weather, dressing up and socialising.

I don't know on the dress. It was Grumpy's mention of J Crew ones on sale. I might have a peruse, or as it's so late in the season just keep an eye on the outnet.
