Oh Anni advice from a cake stall pro........go to supermarket,buy best buy un iced fair cakes. Buy Betty Crocker (disgusting) butter icing and some glitter or sprinkles or any sort of kid friendly crap. Pipe onto cakes......done!

Just dropping by to say hello from friggin iPhone. Had quite a day - killed the laptop, don't know how and then the electricity in the office went off so had no landline, broadband or computer. IPad refusing to charge despite trying a couple of different cables on it. Forgot WiFi password at home and phone's 3G kept going off. Felt like I was living in the dark ages and so isolated. The worst of it was that I was trying to buy a dress from J Crew reduced to £34 in the final sale. By the time I got back online, the bastard was completely sold out. Think karma was trying to enforce my lapsed spending ban.

Hope to have a proper catch up tomorrow.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes - it's actually this weekend - I am doing a double celebration - Ireland last weekend, London this weekend - having a 'small' bbq that now involves 24 adults and about 8 kids so I'll be shopping and cooking all day Sat!

My Whistles order arrived today. Jacket is a keeper. to Anni again for the tip off. Snakeprint top is a huge disappointment - lovely print but bizarre fit, tight on the arms, massive on the body - just all wrong. Lounge trousers look awful on me!

Decided to give the 5:2 diet another go so fasted today and it went surprisingly well. Will try for 6 weeks and see how it goes.
