Thanks guys. I feel guilty for feeling low as he's been away as mil in hospital and so needed to look after fil who has dementia.

I've been so inspired by the colour chat that i've started a pin board and invited you to pin too. If I haven't invited you then let me know your pin name.

Right, dd has watched enough peppa pig now so I really should interact with her now. See you later!

do I want green boots?

The Kors I'm trying today are brown.

I really wanted grey boots.

I need something with a heel and a slouchy or biker flat pair I think.

don't link them Shop!!!!!

If they were almost any other colour, I'd order them.
But my parka is green.
And my peacoat is green.
So I'd look like a knob in Winter.

Don't want to link them on here incase I like them and need a different size.

Oh Queen you do have an awful lot on your plate so sending you some Flowers

I am imposing a ban on all black clothing for you. Keep bright colours on, it does help as does cuddling up to throws, cushions in warming, relaxing shades. DH did one of the first research projects into the use of colour, texture and shape on dementia units which indicated a significant positive correlation between mood, behaviour, orientation and the use of particular colours to both calm and show where things /places are. Further research into the use of colours with deeply personal meanings to individual patients also had positive feedback. For example he decorated the room of a fervent football fan with his team colours-duvet cover, curtains, towels etc. Worked like a charm.

Love the petrol blue shirt (would work with small silver metallic bag or belt).

Today I am wearing my Adidas mustard cowl skirt bought on sale from Hervia last winter. I am wearing it with a charcoal grey C&C long sleeved V neck T layered over a silver grey skinny vest and a pair of tan Hasbeens. And I am freezing.

Dry clean labels are put on so many clothes these days. It has been described by US Vogue columnist Plum Sykes as a way for clothing companies/stores to cover themselves against any claims of wash day faults. The concern I have is what to do about cleaning the increasingly embellished clothing and these new techno fabrics such as bonded wool, raffia etc that are still at the experimental stage as regards their longevity.

It's ok Shop, they are the wrong colour for me anyway.

Hope you feel better QueenC.

I've done a smash and grab at Whistles.
Ordered Shop's grey quilted sweat.
A sweater I tried in JL a few weeks ago.
Another grey sweat, with short sleeves,
And a navy and yellow silk top.

I'll link later.

Come on dhl man, where are you?

Oh, I did ask my nice dhl man about leaving the boxes open... and he said that domestic parcels can be sealed now. In the past, they had to be checked but not anymore.
So get that parcel tape out ladies :o
