Oh god I have just seen the slickest sandals on Matches site alongside a Current Elliott jean that would surely go with the Stella sweater...Now look what I have done- turned a sweater into a whole outfit. I was feeling smug because I have a red skirt that could go with the sweater therefore 'saving' me money..

I am doomed.

And flannel is THE way to go in Winter for skirts and pants. A must of mine. I have some navy flannel sailor pants, several pairs actually, one being MaxMara and the others various High St. Laura Ashley used to do really well cut sailor pants and I wonder if they still do?

Thanks for the link shop. Have ordered the bracelet too (still couldn't find it without your link - weird) and some t shirts while I was at it.

I usually wear brights with a neutral but some inspiring colour combinations there.

Morning!

What lovely colour combinations last night! I might try one of them today.

The cobalt shoes are an old pair of Jimmy Choo flats (patent leather with oversized studs on the tip) I bought at Harvey Nicks.

But I also have the cobalt gigi's which were on sale at Matches if I remember correctly. Will try and link later.

Yes, hurry! I just missed out on a Chloe Elsie bag at 50% because someone else snapped it up while I had other things in the basket.

Angry after being a bit underwhelmed by the things on offer in the sale, I did have two items in my basket. But when I wanted to check out I could only choose between UK delivery or collect in store.

Apparently they don't deliver online orders outside the UK!!!

One of the biggest department stores in the world doesn't do international deliveries!? In the words of J. McEnroe: YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!

So far, browsing around I'm not overly impressed! Perhaps I should have started at 6am!

I am wearing the cobalt and yellow combo today! Grey whisles lena jacket to keep warm and M&S snakeskin flats, silver necklace and bangle....feels good so far. Nice start to the morning, tubes all ran on time so reached my meeting destination with 20 mins to spare so enjoying a cuppa with a bacon buttie...happy sales shopping all.

Blimey, I've missed loads again.

I only ordered the trainers from Matches, they should be here today, along with the outnet Kors boots, and a brand alley Charli order from last month.

I had a little look at Selfridges early this morning, but I don't want to spend any more money.

I did go to Selfridges last night with dh (which was lovely, we rarely get to shop together childless)

I saw Amber's new Choos and they are lovely and soft.

Have you managed to find the McQueen tee Shop?

That's terrible Linus. Have you any family/friends who could send an order on to you?

Grin at all the sale shopping frenzy. Hope you all get some bargains.

I'm feeling low today. The eldest 2 have been playing up as they're missing dh who thankfully is back today. For those of you that have dh regularly away, I don't know how you do it. I originally put on a black tee and a black cardi to reflect my mood but looking at my reflection in the mirror made me more depressed Grin. I quickly changed into a mood brightening pink and navy.

I'm loving all the colour combination chat. It's great to get new ideas of how to wear stuff you already own. The only one I won't be doing is burgundy and cobalt. Df supports Aston villa and bil supports west ham so for me that combination will always be football colours!

the selfies website is BEYOND shit. why can't it just say out of stock on the main pages rather than forcing constant - and very slow - click throughs?

queenc sorry you are feeling low. i hate DH being away, it's the major source of our rows. as the DC get a little older I am starting to focus on my stuff again, which will include travel, and that helps a bit - knowing that he will have to pick up the slack here too! do you have something you do that's really just yours? I've found that's really helped when my kids are little, to keep me sane. (((hugs))) x

Hugs for QueenC DH doesn't go away as much as he used to but when he does it tends to be for longer periods and affects DS a lot. As a child of a father who frequently travelled for up to a year at a time I find it very tough, and I constantly worry about the impact on DS as I know how my brother and I have been affected!
No luck with the McQueen Anni Sad
