OneLittle the Quetiapine and Depixol are total bastards for weight gain. Olanzapine is even worse. I have clients who are on these meds. They sadly all gain weight despite dietician/physio/ sports and exercise input. It is a serious challenge to wanting to stay on meds (do not like the term 'compliance').

Queen I got such a flaming once for daring to question Ruby Wax's opinions re MH issues! Never again....

As for spending.....We work damn hard for our ££ whether it is at work outside the home or by supporting our partners and family inside the home. I do whatever I can to address imbalance whether it be social/economic/political and I try not to flaunt what I buy IRL. But here I feel I can have conversations with like minded women who enjoy the wider subject of fashion and a bit of fun too. And there is much warmth to be had from knowing that out there in the big blue yonder are people who I have a connection with and who I would otherwise have never ever had the chance to 'meet'. The future possibilities are endless. I wuv the interwebby I do.

Queen I have been to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains with its beautiful Spanish mosque and Tafroute in the Anti Atlas of Morocco. The latter has THE most spectacular surroundings- deserty Alpine and you can stuff your face on almonds and all things made with as they grow well there. Oualidia on the coast with a lovely lagoon is gorgeous and just along from Casablanca. i haven't been to Marrakech though. I travelled through Morocco during my summer break from university in the mid 80's on a Transalpino 3 month rail pass. Got into great fun and got into great trouble too! Tanned myself into a leather bag (those were the days when we did) and took refuge from the relentless heat in the mountains where it was cool by day and chilly cold by night. Sucked on fresh dates (nothing like the dried ones we have here-even the imported 'fresh) to keep our mouths moist in the dry high mountain air and ate Pastilla, goat and endless little pastries flavoured with mint, orange and almond syrup. My memories do tend to be either food or clothing related!

Linus Re name tags have you looked on Etsy? May be able to commission a design from a craftsperson there.

Grumpy I like the striped Ann Taylor. Very neat and a love a stripe.

Marsha how did the day go?

Barbi Are you on pin by the same name? Will find you xx

linus I use [[http://www.nametag-it.co.uk/ these] for name tags. Not stylish but they just clip in so no sewing required Grin

santa not going now but trying to book for march. Wondered if anyone had hotel recommendations?

And also what will I need to wear?? Should probably think about it now if I need to buy summer stuff. I'm reading that to avoid hassle you should cover shoulders and knees.

linus QueenC orange sticks are what you need to scrape off accidentally smudged wet nail varnish and wipe onto a tissue.

Oh, and if I make any mess around the nail I tend to scratch it away in the shower the following morning. I've tried using a cotton bud with nail polish remover but I make more of a mess.

Good evening all!

Ooooooh, AIBU!?! I learned a long time ago to keep well away from those. I've been a MNer for 10 years and when AIBU was introduced I was amazed at how vicious it was! Steer well clear...

In other news, my striped Ann Taylor dress arrived (yay). I loved it when the extra petite girl styled it hitched up with a belt and a shirt knotted over the top. Bought an XS petite and it's plenty big enough. I was worried it may be too small (only size close to mine available) but I'm glad I couldn't get the bigger size because it would have been far too big. Must remember that for future Ann Taylor purchases.

Had a horrible Monday at work (are there any other kind?) so it was nice to receive the package to lift the gloom a bit.

linus no tips really, it's just been practice. I do 3 strips of polish down each nail, give each coat a chance to dry before doing the next one and then use opi top coat. I find with essie that sometimes you need 3 coats. If I concentrate then I can get my nails looking pretty good. If I'm distracted watching TV/on iPad then they normally look rubbish!

dry I'm not telling you as you're a teacher so you may hate me too! I never post normally but I felt like being a bit tongue in cheek and was feeling sorry for the op getting such a flaming. I just managed to turn the flaming onto me and like a muppet kept going back for more Grin. Lesson well and truly learnt. Step away from aibu and stick to s&b.

QueenC I love nail polishes but I am so clumsy my manicures look awful. Any tips?

Not quite S&B but can anyone recommend some stylish name tags for children's clothes and shoes?

QueenC which AIBU are you on? The irony of MN is that they criticise Daily Mail, Liz Jones etc for being judgemental and sometimes I find MN quite the same.
