Novice fabulous bling.....love the nuts pastel ESP and the necklace....lucky friend.
Charity sounds amazing.
So I took Nancy shopping, I wore;
jeans
jacket
Amber's sandals
cotton jumper
A fabulous finches (looking) scarf in black with blue and pink birds
And my new friend
Felt fab. A bit matchy for some, but that's just me.
I did get out of the car and bought
this to lighten up the outfit .....doesn't count as its M and SGrin.
I bought dd a fab pair of pink and white dip dyed skinnies in H and M sale for £5...... Spent an hour curling her hair ( love having a daughter) and she wore them to her sleepover.......looked lovely.

Drywhiteplease · 22/06/2013 18:03

Novice a MNV fundraising ball!!!!!! That would be quite something ( sure we could get some fab auction lots from willing retailers!)

shopafrolic · 22/06/2013 18:06

Don't be Blush Novice that's an amazing thing to do

Agree with Shop the nice thing about his thread is that it's a no Blush zone....good on you!

foxysocks · 22/06/2013 19:12

good for you novice, that's really amazing. my ILs have done something similar with a village in ethiopia over the last five+ years - they finally went to visit this year and were treated like royalty lol.

I think they were a bit overwhelmed actually. they are very unassuming people but FIL is lucky enough to be in a very well paid position. they give 1/3 of their salary away annually. i think it sets such a great example. when DH and his brother were little they got 10p pocket money and had to give 5p to charity - sets you up for a life of thinking and caring about others. good for you. xx

McNally · 22/06/2013 19:20

The charity sounds amazing novice. Great to be able to do something that will make such a clear and wonderful difference to a whole village. Can see why you are so excited about it.

Glad the Nancy got an outing dry. Beautiful, beautiful bag.

Mmmm, Balenciaga foxy. That'd do nicely.

LinusDKD · 22/06/2013 19:28

Lovely outfit Dry! I bet Nancy is all you hoped her to be! (i am AngloBelge on Pinterest)

Novice your family charity sounds wonderful, don't be Blush about it.

In honour of Novice's bling, I give you this:

Tiffany

I tried this on many years ago at the Tiffany store in Harrods and DH had to wrench it off my finger because I fell in love with it.

I normally don't like coloured diamonds but this ring was made for me. Maybe if I pin it DH will buy it for my 40th birthday in 2.5 years time?

foxysocks · 22/06/2013 19:34

i have spent about three days googling balenciagas, mcnally. the one i want is in a US store and they can't ship it to the UK. probs a good thing as I REALLY can't afford it rofl. it would mean a spending ban for three months which, whilst doable, would be bloody hard work!

santamarianovella · 22/06/2013 20:06

Hi all!
dry I see you and nancy are still on your honeymoon!
novice that's truly wonderful, you will be giving them a chance of a better education, and hopefully a better future for them.

linus I started following your boards! And the ring is gorgeous!

foxy can you link the bag? Selfridges might have it,and three months is not bad.it will be more precious Grin

AmberNectarine · 22/06/2013 21:20

I will need 5m for my big bag foxy!

Barbie1 · 22/06/2013 21:41

Hello all Smile

Still no real time to catch up but skimmed back quickly and some lovely purchases made from you.

I did read about novice charity, it sounds bloody amazing! Save your Blush you should be extremely proud.

Well the Levi jumper went back as it came up huge, that have an xs that is winging its way to me and I enjoyed the additional 25% off after they messed up on a item.

The LBD is lovely, fits perfectly and can be worn dressed up or down.

My outnet haul arrived. I had 9 things including a few pieces of wang. Gorgeous fit and now I'm all sorted for vest and t's

Furious that on its second wear my American vintage t shirt has loads of holes after a gentle wash. All across stomach but no belt was worn Hmm my other t from them is hideously misshapen too Angry ?120 worth of t shirts wasted!

London all booked for Monday. I will have to concentrate on trousers and skirts.

I could do with some high waisted jersey pencil skirts if anyone could point me in a general direction?

Today I'm wearing the James perce jumper, black skinnys and carry my Chanel...happy days Smile

Drywhiteplease · 22/06/2013 21:51

linus thought that's who you were. Following now.
It may not be Grey Goose but the Macon Villages is going down v well up here
Yes Santa the honeymoon will last a long time Gin

Barbie1 · 22/06/2013 22:14

Size 1, it's lovely! So slimming and just such a nice fit Smile

santamarianovella · 22/06/2013 22:22

Flowers barbie , i like both dresses, might get them both, they look so versatile.

Barbie1 · 22/06/2013 22:26

I love my grey one, wore it last night with my RO Leather jacket and black shoe boots. I had big hair and heavy eye makeup, total rock chick Wink

The only down side is they do tend to ride up when you walk, I was forever pulling it down to protect my modesty Grin

santamarianovella · 22/06/2013 22:44

I hope they get dispatched soon, we are going out on Wednesday, and I have the perfect shoes for the black dress, a zanotti caged sandals, I've been dying to wear again !

Oh,and I I might have ordered the j.crew sweater that has been sitting in my basket forever.Grin

Drywhiteplease · 22/06/2013 22:58

I noticed Barbie

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 22/06/2013 23:20

Evening all! Had a read through and you all sound as though you're having nice weekends. Novice I am in awe - big respect to you. You do not EVER have to use Blush again, what you are doing is incredible.

I am stone cold sober tonight, having been designated driver for Ascot today. Very tired though - I don't know how some do it for the whole 5 days. DH and I took DD1 who bears a striking resemblance to a minor royal and got told so on six different occasions! One man even asked me to take his pic with her so he could tell his wife he met Princess **! The coat came in more than handy as it was very windy and not that warm, with occasional rain thrown in for good measure. Good old British summertime (I'm emigrating).

Off for friends' anniversary lunch tomorrow which is fully catered and they have a nanny to take the children off for their own special menu, bouncy castle et al, so should be a fun afternoon. Going to have a try-on in the morning and decide on an outfit, weather-dependent.

LinusDKD · 23/06/2013 08:23

Barbie that is such a shame about the AV tees! I have quite a few of them and so far (touch wood) they have washed well. I think the washing instructions do say that you need to wash them with a detergent without enzymes.

Grumpy glad that fabolous coat served you well yesterday.

I've been trying to pin this shirt but somehow it doesn't work so I'll link it here:

MiH shirt

I really love it but I won't buy it as it's totally unpractical for my current lifestyle with a toddler and a baby.

QueenCadbury · 23/06/2013 09:22

amber I read that initially as 5 million rather than months Grin

Wasn't brave enough to do a kate moss yesterday so wore jeans instead of cut offs with hunters.

novice don't be embarrassed, it's a great thing to do. What made you choose that particular one? Will you go and visit?

barbie I'm not surprised you're cross. So far this year I've had 3 tees ruin in the wash and I'm very careful with my stuff.

grumpy your day today sounds fab. We're just having a lazy one.

foxy I'm about to pm you.

foxysocks · 23/06/2013 11:04

got it and replied queenc x

amber i thought you meant you needed 5mill for a second then! 5 months v hardcore, good for you. is that the one you mentioned before, one of the WIBT collection? if so I absolutely love it too but would need to be on a year long ban which is too much for me.

parka on again today! copied NaP styling, with distressed skinnies, breton and tan mulberry. not sure whether to go for tan ankle boots or trainers weather yet, v gloomy and changeable here but we are about to head out so had better decide pronto

enjoy your sunday everyone x

BrandyAlexander · 23/06/2013 11:04

Morning all! Thank you again for being kind, i prob would have been flamed on other threads.Grin So this morning sees the first wear of the wang chunky knit this morning. Looks great on with the j crew jeans and the the Swarovski ring that dh hatesGrin. Taking the dcs out for lunch today then to theatre. Dd v excited about the theatre (we try and take them once a month) and ds v excited about the train!
