foxy I bought a beautiful red parka from Gap in the US last christmas which doesn't appear to be waterproof but has served me well through the winter. Whilst it just felt heavy cotton canvas, it didn't let in a drop. I'd keep it if you love it and like shop says, you can buy waterproofing spray if you're worried.

foxy 90s childhood?! OK, now I feel old. I got married in 93 and had DD1 at the end of 94!

Keep it then foxy. I'll just remember never to meet you in Bristol on a rainy day as you'll be looking fabulously cool

well not really childhood grumpy, but my impressionable years (age10-20) spanned the 90s. I was born in dec '79 so am not super young!

Have just been lovingly stroking my equipment shirt. It is just so perfect!

Am a fashion no fly zone ATM in loose fit tees and trousers due to getting dressed one handed. My Wang vests have been invaluable! Fingers look like sausages with blue knuckles - have been doing way too much. Thankfully DH off next week so he can do the donkey work, poor sod!

Liberty don't drown your sorrows - that looks like a real hit or miss item to me. Don't take it personally. I bought a Zoe Karssen T that's a bit like that, but can't be bothered to send it back now (prob too late anyway). Sometimes going for 'butt-covering' can be most unflattering, regardless of the size of one's butt!
