Will try and catch up later, but a quick reply to It's re Gigis.

I have the cobalt pair as well in a size 7.5M and an old red pair in a size 7M and the red pair is definately more comfortable.

Is it because I have worn the red pair a lot over the years and have only worn the cobalt ones a couple of times? I don't know but what I have found with both pairs, is that I need to close the straps in the last hole otherwise they are way too tight.

DS only woke up once last night and then he slept until 7.45!!! As he is an early riser this has only happened a couple of times before so when DD woke us up at 7.15 we were a bit worried but he is on the mend.

LinusDKD · 21/06/2013 10:11

Definitely

And there's a comma in the wrong place somewhere.

shopafrolic · 21/06/2013 10:14

Glad to hear DS is improving Linus and that you all got some sleep x

mignonette · 21/06/2013 10:15

Linus I hope you feel a little better now you have had a nights sleep

Scared to look at those Edelmans in case they are much cheaper than the ones I paid for Shock

BrandyAlexander · 21/06/2013 10:23

Hello..... back home! Yeah Linus! Great news.

Arf at Shop's dreamGrin

Thanksto Mig.

In the midst of a trying on session. Cursing my fat arse as I may have to send the most beautiful dress ever back!Angry

mignonette · 21/06/2013 10:26

Like these Studio Pollini or do you prefer these pink ones instead?

and these are very Seventies Halston.

And finally Chloe at a reduced price...

Which to buy?

MarshaBrady · 21/06/2013 10:34

Either Chloe or high Pollini for me Mignon.

Love that rocket Sleep.

Welcome back Novice!

I can imagine a voguette in this and looking good.

mignonette · 21/06/2013 10:37

Love the orange skirt Marsha and orange is actually not a hard colour to coordinate with.

Am leaning towards the high Pollini because they remind me of a pair of sandals that my Mother wore. I used to clump around in them as a child...

AmberNectarine · 21/06/2013 11:50

Forgot to mention Selfridges have massively slashed jeans prices. Jimmy Jimmys were £40!!!

mignonette · 21/06/2013 11:51

Can somebody PM me with details of where to find Dry's and Amber's blogs?

AmberNectarine · 21/06/2013 11:57

mignonette you can find mine here. I don't think Dry has her own blog but you can see her on the lovely Sue's blog here

shopafrolic · 21/06/2013 12:12

High Pollinis for me Mignonette - gorgeous
Love the orange skirt Marsha
Novice I saw no trace of a fat arse when we met - what did you eat in America? ;)

shopafrolic · 21/06/2013 12:14

Damn Amber no price reduction online and I really wanted another pair of Jimmy Jimmy's but in a 29. No chance of me getting to the big smoke either. Boo hiss.

Am trying to invite MN Voguers to pin onto my Modern Classics board but it is only allowing me to invite people at a very slow rate. I will get around to you all when it lets me!

Amber Was that the Louise Gray who posted that question on your blog? She is a great designer.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 21/06/2013 13:04

Another nod for the high Pollinis Mignonette. I love that 70s California vibe, think Farrah Fawcett, high waisted flares and all that hair

Marsha I am now in love with that skirt. Beautiful. Love it styled with that sheer navy too. Saw a woman at Doncaster races last week in an orange -boilersuit-- jumpsuit and cobalt trilby hat and heels. She looked like she'd just pimped up a death row uniform and it kind of put me off the orange. You have re-kindled my love.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 21/06/2013 13:06

now look what you've started Marsha

Good job my size is sold out.

I'm going to have to start selling off the kids at this rate

OneLittleLady · 21/06/2013 13:09

I am not at all surprised you saw someone dressed like that at Doncaster races Grumpy some of the sights I've seen on race days are a wonder, they really are Hmm

mignonette · 21/06/2013 13:13

Oh god Race Day....Dreadful sights. Still, at least the beautifully dressed look even more exquisite in comparison.

I've always liked felted wool. That skirt looks so much like the little bandages I used to wear ....nostalgic Smile

shopafrolic · 21/06/2013 13:17

Does anyone have any Kenneth Jay Lane jewellery? I'm eyeing up a couple of necklaces on the Outnet.......just wondering if people rate the quality as I'm usually hideously allergic to the cheap stuff.

Mignonette don't have a blog, I follow loads though. Leeds is indeed a fabulous shopping centre and even better now that the new shopping mall in the city centre whose name escapes me is now opened.......great architecture. But the Victoria Quarter is my fav place. H Nics is small though.

MarshaBrady · 21/06/2013 14:11

Ha Grumpy that pimped orange boiler sounds... Interesting Grin

Shop I don't know anything about that one I'm afraid.

Was feeling very warm, warm enough to yes lounge outside but got changed and blinking clouds turned up. Boo.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 21/06/2013 14:21

and another lovely skirt

The orange was ceratinly interesting, especially the way it clashed co-ordinated with her complexion.

Just received DH's sales goodies from Massimo Dutti and couldn't be more thrilled with them. All dressed up in navy linen blazer, narrow indigo jeans, tasselled loafers and wafting an aroma of Grey Vetiver, I quite fancy him again Wink.

QueenCadbury · 21/06/2013 14:25

I'm about to take this coast skirt to a dress agency but does anyone want it instead? I'll check but I think it's a size 10 or 12 but comes up small as I'm usually an 8/10. It's fairly high waisted. It's a lovely skirt but I only ever styled it with black so was fairly memorable to wear too many times and now it's not one of my colours anyway.

QueenCadbury · 21/06/2013 14:28

A close up

mig for some reason your links won't give me pictures so I can't see your shoes.

novice never met you but I never imagined you to have an arse! Show us the dress.

foxysocks · 21/06/2013 15:08

It's so muggy here, really horrid. Am in denim Boyf shorts and cream American vintage slubby vest, with pale gold havs

I love all the orange skirts.

Parka is here, looks lovely but have sun cream on so need to wait until after shower later to try on.

Wimbledon next week! Pimms and court side fashion all round. Along with some nice young men hitting balls, natch
