No shop don't think you mentioned kick back, lots of my friends have though and one of the ladies tonight was a nervous wreck about it.

BrandyAlexander · 20/06/2013 23:17

Hello lovely Voguettes! I am in the airport lounge waiting to board. It's my 18th flight this yearShock but my last for about 6 weeks...I hope! Welcome itsnotunusual don't worry I am a classic tooGrin

Mig, thanks for the link, I shall definitely check it out. I have been using mac prep and prime lips and that also seems to improve staying power. I love the mac prep and prime eyelashes (another wonder product as makes my eyelashes look super curly and long) and eyes (my eyeshadow actually stays on!).

I am mooching about home tomorrow, allegedly working but in reality doing errands, going to hairdresser and getting nails done. Oh and trying on my new clothes. After I have seen my dcs of course!Grin Also going to find out how one sets up a bank account for a charity. By the way, forgive me if I rabbit on about the charity. Am just super excited about it and not looking for any funds or anything (as i am funding it myself) I feel a bit weird in rl saying i am starting a charity so I don't talk about it. And dh is bored of it.....he may even prefer me talking about clothesGrin

Speaking of obsessions.... i am about to get into my annual one....dh's birthday present. Be warned!!!

mignonette · 20/06/2013 23:23

Have a safe flight Novice. I am loving hearing about your new charity venture and certainly you should tell us all about it.

Enjoy your mooch tomorrow-a much earned one. Look forward to hearing the evaluations of new clothing-awaiting-try-ons...

Night, night all. xx

Hi everyone, just back from a night out, went to the opening night of the Punch Drunk production, Drowned Man - completely Confused by the whole thing Grin.

Lovely purchases going on here, as per. So pleased you got your dress Faddy, speaking of which, I found Leather's dress for her here Grin LOOK20 gets you a discount if anyone fancies anything on the site (not sure if that includes sale items).

Dry, lovely pic of you on that blog, and the Victoria Quarter in the background holds lots of memories for me of my student days in Leeds, drooling over designer fashion I couldn't afford Grin. Am Envy of gorgeous Nancy!

Popped into Anna today on a pre-sale scout. Lots of gorgeous things. Mentioned the shopatanna post but manager knew nothing about it, maybe one of the other shops...she did confirm that their sale will be on the day of MU though, so we should definitely visit Grin.

Welcoming to unusual- do stay! And welcome home Novice! Hope you gets peaceful night with DS Linus, no wonder you are on the Pringles!

In other news my Outnet order went back, Wang dress was nice but being see through, too tricky to style, didn't work with vest top and tights under Confused...Malandrino skirt just ok, bit too high waisted for me. Am very very tempted by the black James Perse dress you got though Barbie. How clingy is it in RL?

Sleepwhenidie · 21/06/2013 08:15

Oh - just wanted to tell all of you about this too, (sorry not s&b but very cool Smile) - DH picked one up for DS2 yesterday and since we built it all 3 DC"s haven't stopped playing spacemen and aliens Grin - a huge hit. I have ordered one for my D nephew's birthday.

mignonette · 21/06/2013 08:16

Can somebody PM me details of Drys blog? I love Leeds....

Hoping for better weather today. This murk is playing tricks with my brain Smile...

Today I am wearing J Crew brocade geometric weave straight leg pants in a blue/slate/cream colourway, a Junya Watanabe twisted/pleated shirt that is a couple of years old (white) and these lovely Edelmans. I have added a bit of colour with my green/yellow art deco style vessence watch from Storm.

It is my short day today because I was on call last night. Had one outing at 4 a.m to oversee a Sectioning/Transfer to unit but apart from that, quiet. So will do my half day then have a nap this afternoon. Off out tonight as driving to a friends in Suffolk.

Shame so much had to go back Sleep. I've never worn Malandrino and will take a look at her stuff.

mignonette · 21/06/2013 08:17

That rocket is cool Sleep. I'd have loved one.....

shopafrolic · 21/06/2013 08:23

Phew, how can I feel quite so stressed by 8.30 in the morning! Dd1 has dh a 'teenage' strop, dd2 has had a toddler strop but luckily ds did as he was told. I think granny will be glad to get home later tidy Grin.

shop I love those rockets etc but my dc are quite boisterous so it would be ruined within minutes!

novice don't feel bad for talking about the charity. It's nice to hear about it. This thread is an escape from my world of dc so I love hearing about adult things!

QueenCadbury · 21/06/2013 08:43

Eh? How did the word 'tidy' appear after the sentence about granny?

mignonette · 21/06/2013 08:51

Ha ha Queen

Here's a ☆ for you for getting through those lovely mornings with young children. Mine are all grown up now so a whole new set of challenges Wink

mignonette · 21/06/2013 09:13

24 hour clearance on Cocosa here

QueenCadbury · 21/06/2013 09:15

Anyone fancy doing cropped tops??

mignonette · 21/06/2013 09:28

I thought Beyonce looked amazing in her crop and skirt here but I wore an identical outfit in the early 80's at University and think I'll probably pass on it now I'm in my mid to late 40's.

mignonette · 21/06/2013 09:29

it is the second photo at the bottom of the link I'm referring to-the stripes

shopafrolic · 21/06/2013 10:05

I can't claim the credit for the rocket QUeenC - it was Sleep
Novice I hope you cope with the jet lag today. Welcome home.
