QueenC hope you feel better soon x.
Amber hope the op went/goes well.....I am in awe of your beyond (00000h, hate that term almost as much as "marmite", which btw, I love.....shudders) impressed with your sales shopping haul (part 1).... Really love the Lucy Choi shoes, so classy, timeless, expensive looking, the Carven dress and the velvet striped top......amazing!
Still chuckling at my 5/6 yr olds putting poetry to music/dance/ acting session today on the field....it was like some crazy drug induced modern dance impro worthy of the Saddlers Wells Ballet! Grinmight bring it to London!

I got fed up waiting for the Me&Em sale so I ordered this dress as I was afraid it wouldn't be on sale anyway. I think shop has the same dress.

And this tee as I am still on a quest to find the perfect almost sleeveless tee:

santamarianovella · 18/06/2013 21:05

mignonette what mouthwatering flavors! i love macarons, loyal to laduree, caramel with salted butter is my fav,ohh and the coffee one too!

shop shame about the ring, the dagmar sweater is lovely.

linus the lang skirt looks nice, maybe it will appear again.

ani thats the best bday a teenager could wish for!

i tried the beauty detox diet by kimberly snyder , (followed by most celebs)and almost died, its awful, intense vegan diet, and most of the the food listed could only be found at whole foods, spent a fortune on exotic ingredients, and nothing happened at all,i felt so weak, and most of the recipes take forever to achieve i managed to do it for a month, and gave up! i hate fad diets.

Drywhiteplease · 18/06/2013 23:21

2hrs silence......wow is everyone exhausted from all the sales shopping? Off to bed, hoping Nancy arrives tomorrow Smile

LinusDKD · 19/06/2013 06:55

Morning!

As of today Maison Linus is officially The House of Pox. Yes, DS has finally caught chicken pox after most of his little friends at nursery had it for the last two weeks.

He doesn't seem to be suffering too much and as the nursery doesn't exclude children with chicken pox if they don't have a fever and generally feel ok, DH dropped him off this morning.

I am just a bit worried that if DD catches it she will suffer more as she is still so young.

Today I am wearing the grey Splendid maxi skirt with a white Massimo Dutti tee and navy havs. The skirt is such a pleasure to wear and it falls/drapes beautifully so yesterday I also ordered it in black.

Santa how do you usually wear it? I think it needs a bit more than just a tee but I am not sure what could dress it up a bit. Maybe a long necklace?

QueenCadbury · 19/06/2013 07:31

How old's dd linus? My dd was under 2 when she caught it and apart from a couple of days temperature and feeling icky she was fine. I suffered more as I was pregnant with ds at the time and she would only sleep lying on me. Ds was over 2 when he had it and really suffered. His spots were massive and angry looking on his trunk and he still has loads of scars. Got to go through it all again when dd2 gets it.

dry hope nancy comes for you.

AmberNectarine · 19/06/2013 07:46

My DD had it at 11mo. Total non event. She was spotty but happy.

shopafrolic · 19/06/2013 07:53

My DS got it on my 40th birthday (he was 20 mths). Two days of feeling poorly. He slept fine. No scratching and just 2 scars - unfortunately they are on his face :(
