NaP have just rung me.
It's still broken but they will reserve items for when it's mended.

OneLittleLady · 17/06/2013 11:58

Fab top queenC I love a bit of animal print

Annianni · 17/06/2013 12:01

I've reserved the Marant Jenny boot in dark grey.

I know 40bum tried them and said they were nothing special, but I think I've tried every other boot in existence now :o

NaP lady was rather suprised that I only wanted to reserve one item.

AmberNectarine · 17/06/2013 12:28

Good for you One, hope it all works out for you! It's nice to have an interest outside kids/job etc. I find my blog has been quite reinvigorating for me, though it's fast feeling like a second job!

foxysocks · 17/06/2013 12:29

i love those boots anni

thanks amber and shop - still not sure whether to order. will deliberate until it sells out then i'll realise how much i need it

shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 12:34

I love a MNV hand me down tale QueenC - glad the top works for you.
Glad things are progressing for you One - so important to have something that's all yours (not that I've managed that yet of course!)

DP has been dropping hints that he's bought and hidden some of the things I've been eyeing up. I haven't a clue which bits he's got though, he says I have to wait until christmas!

Thanks amber it's been a long time coming but I really feel like it's time for me now, I can't keep being mum, sister, carer, cook and problem solver to everyone else, it's breaking me and I need something for myself now. Since mum died a couple of years ago, my brothers and sisters have been looking to me to fill the void and I just can't do it anymore, mum was incredibly strong and gave everything up for us kids and she warned me not to become her.

Oh dear, sorry for going off fashion! I'm secretly hoping that DP managed to get the Alexander McQueen razor cuff, I've wanted one for what feels like an eternity!

AmberNectarine · 17/06/2013 13:02

Nice to have a surprise a Christmas One. My DH gets furnished with a list and my Matches sale preview code mid December and told to get on with it.

Am waiting in for my Jimmy Choos feeling impatient. Wish there was some sort of DHL tracker beyond 'out for deliery'. I want coordinates man.

shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 13:10

Me too Amber J Crew and Matches out for delivery today - I'm going nowhere after missing them on Friday.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 13:11

Not sure if there are any Hobbs lovers on here but you can get an extra 10% off sale code via their Facebook page

So the J Crew bangle is going back, and I'll be calling them to ask for a postage refund too! Rubbish quality. I assumed the calf skin ran under the gold panels, but it is stuck on unevenly and you can see white edges and glue - it looks really cheap. Very disappointed :(

OP posts:
Annianni · 17/06/2013 13:42

Oh no Shop, that's rubbish.
I thought J crew would be nice quality.

I've just sent my entire Charli order back to Brand alley.
I don't think the colours were quite right on me.

And I want to return the Splendid grey tee to Selfridges, I think it's too dark a colour.
I just need to find the receipt...

I've put loads of weight on lately Liberty, it's depressing. But I can't seem to get my head into gear, to do something about it.

santamarianovella · 17/06/2013 13:43

Thanks mignonette,Alghero looks amazing, will look at it in more detail when DD takes her nap.

linus we went to Sardinia last year when DD was 11months and DSS was 6ys, and we had not trouble at all, it is a very family friendly place.

one all the best of luck .

Annianni · 17/06/2013 13:46

That blue bag is lovely Drywhite.

And the cake was fab Sleep.
Did it taste nice?

I've got to make a chocolate cake for dsd's birthday tomorrow. And got loads of balloons to blow up (i have a balloon pump though, so it's not too bad)

Amber, have you had your hand op yet?

Annianni · 17/06/2013 13:48

Foxy, Yoox have several pairs of Goldsign in 24's for around £50.

shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 14:05

AV tee from Matches going back too - it's the wrong shade of blue - I thought it looked more petrol blue on screen but it isn't. Still debating whether to keep the Marant bracelet which I love. But still seems pricey for what it is.....

Anni after seeing some photo's of myself taken this weekend (oh, the joys of the digital camera) I have finally ordered the shred dvd, bought some hand weights today and had a salad for lunch (and a pain au chocolat for breakfast)

I would like to lose about 10 kilos so I have quite a long way to go.

Santa Mignonette we do take our holidays end of July/beginning of August when the nursery closes for their annual holiday.

Our summers can be pretty hot as well so I hope the DC will be used to it.

I know the Italians love babies and children but the baby friendliest place I have been to was Singapore when DS was nearly one year old. You would have thought he was a rock star, the way everyone was fussing over him and taking his picture.

One enjoy doing something you like and are good at!
I used to sing in am amateur choir (classical music, cause I am supercool. Not!) when I was in my teens and I was a soprano but thanks to smoking and drinking during my student days I now sound like a frog with laryngitis.

OneLittleLady · 17/06/2013 14:13

linus, I used to smoke like a bloody chimney and was always around second hand smoke as both parents and my older brothers smoked! oddly enough though, I still have range and my teacher says I sound like I've never smoked a day in my life Hmm I still have a crafty smoke now and again as well, bad habits are hard to break Grin Also, good luck with the shred! Please don't try to be brave and skip level one though, you would definitely regret it! expect to be sore for a couple of days after your first go at it, I could barely move my legs the first day after I started it!

shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 14:21

Sending it all back - v disappointing!

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 17/06/2013 14:28

No way! Did you get it already!?

shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 14:36

Got the Matches and J Crew orders Marsha
NaP looks to be arriving tomorrow. It'd better be good as everything so far hasn't been worth the money - even at sale prices.....

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 17/06/2013 14:37

Gah - I don't think I love anything enough on NAP to order...there are a couple of pairs of shoes I would have gone for if they had my size left (will keep watch for returns) and tempted by some Choos but at 120mm the heels are just too high for me to cope with - 100-110 would be ok....still have my eye on that top, maybe it will be reduced later.

Sure there will be plenty to go at once Anna sale starts Grin.

How is DD today Santa - horrible when they hurt themselves like that. DD is still traumatised by her fall at Easter, very sensitive about bumping her lip Sad

LinusDKD · 17/06/2013 15:07

Dissapointing, isn't it sleep?

I have decided that, as I am going to try and lose weight, I am only going to buy tops (never lose much weight up top) accessories and shoes in the sales but at this rate I won't find anything I really love. I guess that's one of the things MNV has taught me, only buy when you really love the item.

one Envy at your voice being unaffected by smoking.

It is hot here today so I am wearing white linen trousers (my legs look even less appealing after being eaten alive by mozzie this weekend in France) navy Massimo Dutti tee and my old red gigis.

DD is wearing her finest Pampers nappy and nothing else. Wink

shopafrolic · 17/06/2013 15:12

You're making me long for sunshine Linus I still have scars from bites that are 3 months old! Not a good look! :)
