liberty you have done the right thing, saving for a burberry coat is a great idea, they are the best in my opinion,i have one in grey, burberry brit do lovely ones and are more mid range as apposed to burberry main line.

BrandyAlexander · 15/06/2013 21:53

Fab links everyone! Including the weird jeans.Shock I wouldn't be wasting diamonds on jeans that's for sure! Sleep, you may just have given me the best idea ever.....credit card bill is due in about a weekGrin

BrandyAlexander · 15/06/2013 21:58

Can someone more seasoned than me explain the Selfridges sales to me? I am seriously baffled. Things seem to go on sale. There but not for very long. Eg the Chloe Marcie in black was on sale on Thursday at half price for about an hour (this was at 6am when ds2 was up). Also I bought this Rag and Bone bag on Thursday morning but it was at less than a third of the price. It's now back at full price.Confused

santamarianovella · 15/06/2013 22:06

novice maybe it was a mistake? the marcie bag specially in black hardly goes on sale, its a current design, and not seasonal.was it the hobo? i think i saw it on sale too,

libertychick · 15/06/2013 22:17

Well done on getting the rag and bone bag at such a good price Novice. The selfridges website is really annoying - I have no idea what goes on with it! And yes, I thought Sleep's idea was excellent too! Did you get the Aspinal???

Santa thanks for the encouragement - thankfully I don't seem to have champagne tastes, the coat I like most is one of the cheapest they have here

BrandyAlexander · 15/06/2013 22:17

Hi Santa' it was this Marcie. I have the same one but in a salmon pink colour. I was really surprised that the black was there at half price. It briefly crossed my mind that if I had the first clue how to eBay, I would have bought itGrin

BrandyAlexander · 15/06/2013 22:25

Oh liberty, that coat is divine. I am glad Grumpy got her coat, I can admire from afarSmile

libertychick · 15/06/2013 22:38

I have fallen in love with a mini Marcie in red. I agree with Santa and reckon the half hour of the black Marcie at half price was a mistake by someone in Selfridges - I wonder how many people got lucky??

Novice thanks for the feedback on the coat - I love it. I have spent about £200 - £300 per month for the last few months on clothes so I reckon I could buy that coat for winter if I am disciplined and buy absolutely nothing else between now and Sept/Oct - I may have to take leave of absence from S&B though to stick to that!

shopafrolic · 15/06/2013 23:16

Back from dinner. I bottled out of wearing a dress again - I don't know why I bother buying them! I wore a cream silk Whistles blouse, Paige Jimmys and nude LKB Florettes with my nude Gina sparkly clutch.
There was a glam woman at the bar beside us with a 2.55. I nearly kissed it. Jealous does not describe.......

Morning. Dh is making the most of Father's Day and had had a lie in and now on a long bike ride Hmm. So whilst the dc are happy with the wii/TV/iPad ( I am a bad mother!) I've been browsing and stumbled across this blog. I'm trying to stay away from blogs but I like this one as it has more to it than just fashion.

liberty loving the Burberry.

shop hope you had a good night

MarshaBrady · 16/06/2013 08:57

Morning

Liberty love that Burberry. I think I might need one this year too.

Shop. great outfit.

MrsRadicchio · 16/06/2013 09:43

The usual apologies for not being able to catch up!

Just thought I'd jump in to say - fantasy bags wise - I have a soft spot for smythson and this (minus the sparkles Hmm )

Also love the chanel 2.55

I like the rocco too but that level of wear does put me off.

Some great fantasy shopping and actual sales shopping!

Drywhiteplease · 16/06/2013 09:49

liberty that is a funny stories, bet the All Blacks have done that Wink. The black Burberry is lovely
Novice I saw the black hobo Marcie in S sale too......impossible to buy though. Wierd .
Shop wish you had kissed the bag......!

Drywhiteplease · 16/06/2013 10:07

QueenC you're lucky, my DH has said for Father's Day he'd like the whole family to go on a bike ride! He's currently watching more rugby highlights with DS , I'm keeping quiet! At least it's good for me although I might die on the big hill.

Drywhiteplease · 16/06/2013 10:49

Oh no! DH just said " are you wearing that to cycle? Won't you get friction?!" ........friction? Shock didn't realise we're doing the Tour de France. Worried now.

MarshaBrady · 16/06/2013 10:51

Oh Dry... Good luck Grin

Decameron · 16/06/2013 10:51

Funny about the haka, Liberty, I love it too. My Sil is from NZ and used to play it over and over when she babysat for DD1. I want a few things from the Me & Em sale and a pair of grey jeans then I think I will save for the coat.

Enjoy the bike ride, Dry!

Lovely bag, Novice.

Have bookmarked that blog, QueenC, thanks.

Foxy, let me know if the email didn't come through, I can try again.

QueenCadbury · 16/06/2013 13:31

Ha ha dry good luck!

QueenCadbury · 16/06/2013 13:36

mrsR I always forget about smythson but they are indeed lovely. Just had a quick browse of their site and from their current collection this would be my bag of choice.

shopafrolic · 16/06/2013 13:46

Just back from the shops where we had to exchange DH's RL polo shirt that I got him for Father's Day. Spotted that the Swarovski sale is on in-store up to 50% off.........

Hello everyone. Hervia.com has an extra 10% off of the existing sale prices. Just enter VIPSALE as the discount code. Plenty of Comme there.

Anni I bought my DD that Marc Jacobs rubber bracelet in black last Christmas. She loves it.

Cocosa.com has James jeans on sale with hefty discounts plus vintage Chanel accessories and bags on sale. we're still talking at least a thou per bag but less stratospheric and they do hold their price.

Am enjoying peeking at the sales bargains. Just back from taking girlfriend of my DS out to get some holiday clothing. She is on a small budget but I did treat her to a few items- an elephant print playsuit here from New Look; this soft River Island sweatshirt; this skirt. Then she bought a straw hat which made her look like a character in a French film set in the Riviera and a pair of pink and biscuit suede deck shoes.

mignonette · 16/06/2013 16:59

Liberty
Grin Grin That is brilliant (Inspired to ask DH the same)
