Anna website another new revelation!
Shop your Bella is lovely

shopafrolic · 15/06/2013 16:51

Oh Dry we've been posting Anna links for a while - Mignonette just reminded me to take another look. I don't think that's their main sale yet?

mignonette · 15/06/2013 17:17

Think it is a pre-sale but their reductions are pretty serious. Those leather leggings have several hundred pounds off.

They also have something for many, price wise....

Not clothing related but have any of you been to the Icecreamist ice cream parlour in Covent Garden? I know their sundaes can be very pricey but wondering if the hype far exceeds the reality. Matt O Connor is the man behind 'Baby Gaga' breastmilk ice cream and used to be main activist in FFJ (which means I probably shouldn't put any ££ in his pocket)

Sleepwhenidie · 15/06/2013 17:21

Hi, mignonette thank you for the Gucci tip, seems to have gone now though Sad...have had DM visiting today, she just left. Am now relying on NAP!

Great purchases Amber and Novice... Novice, can i suggest wearing the HL dress with cage sandals for when DH opens the next credit card statement Wink?

No problem about the sandals Amber, maybe I should call them....

Don't think Anna sale is on yet, it's usually one of the later ones and I should get a pre-sale invitation (typically 30-40% reduction) so if anyone has their eye on anything in particular let me know so I can snap it up, though you may want to try it on first if its expensive as in-store returns are non-refundable.

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2013 17:27

Amber you are a star! thank you. I actually feel better knowing that it doesn't go on sale as I bought it at full price.

Dry lovely list, very classic and chic.

Great sales shopping Anni and Amber!

Novice gorgeous things, the Mouret is so nice.

Foxy so pleased you love it, I can really see you with it , I do too. Definitely one I'd love to have one day. Playdate on a Saturday is good going imo.

Mignon that blue is lovely on Diane Kruger.

Grumpy well done! Will be lovely.

Liberty love that Burberry coat and Proenza Schouler satchel.

I haven't Mignon, but I have heard of it.

If we're doing One Day outfits, it would be a Derek Lam dress or here.

This is rather something too. Prabal Gurung

Tbh I'd be happy with everything on my looks I like board.

mignonette · 15/06/2013 17:37

I cannot take the credit for the Gucci heads up, Sleep. It was Santa who mentioned it. However Sleep a help with Anna purchases would be lovely (if I have any ££££ left)....

That white Derek Lam.....Oh Marsha what a wedding dress that would make.....In fact all of those dresses are exquisite.

Sleepwhenidie · 15/06/2013 17:40

Oops sorry, Santa, I dashed off to Gucci website so fast! Flowers

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2013 17:40

I know, I wish I had looked elsewhere when I got married, instead of a typical bridal store - Browns Bride. I mean it's a lovely place but I felt rushed and had to get something off the rails, not made.

Would have much preferred one of those two.

Decameron · 15/06/2013 17:44

Quick hello from me, lots of lovely links.

Liberty, that's great your DH ordered you the jacket, good man! I love that Burberry coat, my friend has an amazing one and I am thinking of saving hard and buying one in the autumn.

I've ordered a pair of grey J Brand mavericks in the Donna Ida sale, I wear my navy ones loads so couldn't resist. Anni, do you want to pm me your email address and I can forward the email? It's 50% off on certain items.

Decameron · 15/06/2013 17:45

Renew your vows, Marsha!

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2013 17:47

Ha I was thinking if dh was worth not getting married again (JOKING) yes renewing vows much better Grin.

Decam a Burberry coat would be perfect for you too.

mignonette · 15/06/2013 17:57

When I saw those photographs of Keira Knightley's wedding it did make me wonder just how 'un showy' a wedding can be described as when it involves a custom made Chanel dress and Lagerfeld as a guest at the reception. However her undone hair and re-worn gown I suppose made it appear that way.

It would be good to see more weddings like that though in terms of a lovely day dress, un-fussy hair and just the joy of it.

Annianni · 15/06/2013 18:06

I had a fab time this morning.
I dashed out of the house with no make up on, except mascara... such was my bargain hunting enthusiasm :o

Sam Edelman felicia was my first Selfridges bargain, £35 reduced from £110.
I'd pinned them ages ago.
They were also in a fab bright pink, but none in my size unfortunately.

I tried some CoH jeans that were in the sale, but they weren't a nice colour on.
They had loads of reduced jeans, but mostly small sizes.

I then went to the city centre stores, as there were some lovely sandals, but not my size available.

Sam Edelman Gwyneth was sat waiting for me in that Selfridges for a bargainous £29 reduced from £100.

Along with this Splendid tee but mine's a dark grey, and mine's a looser fit and lower at the neckline.

And finally this Marc Jacobs rubber bracelet.
It's a pale grey, i've liked them for ages... think it'll be nice layered with my silver pieces and a bit of fun for £17.

I tried a lovely navy wool Maison Scotch jacket in HN.
It was £125 reduced from £250. But i've put weight on lately and didn't want to but anything that would end up too big in the future.

Also tried the black leather Dickers again in HN.
They were reduced to £175, but I needed a 7, the 6 were too small (luckily) :o

Drywhiteplease · 15/06/2013 19:05

Good haul Anni... I'm so impressed at all of your sales shopping.

Novice the Roland Mouret is gorgeous.
marsha I especially love the blue, feather print maxi....lovely

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 15/06/2013 19:24

Super bargain-hunting Anni!

Drywhiteplease · 15/06/2013 19:39

Just catching highlights of All Blacks v France, saw a the Hukka, thought of potty training dd.....who was it? V funny!

QueenCadbury · 15/06/2013 19:45

Great shopping everyone.

liberty I hope your dh has booked your colours. If you're getting it done, try and stay strong and don't buy anything until then. If you're like me, you just isn't be happy wearing it gain knowing it's wrong.

I'd love to renew my vows again as an excuse for a gorgeous dress and a party. Dh not so keen though.

Annianni · 15/06/2013 19:48

Thanks Drywhite and Grumpy.

It was libertys dd Dry.

That's terrible wear on your bag Amber, I agree, take it back.

Lovely dresses Marsha and good luck for the job.

Fab frock Novice, I'd love to try a RM.

Those diamond jeans are awful.
I like my diamonds where I can see them.
Are they just for the Ecclestone sisters to buy?

Even if I had pots of money, I wouldn't spend that much on jeans.

I would however happily do a Novice spend that much on jewellery, bags etc :o

Annianni · 15/06/2013 19:52

Hope the new denim jacket works out for you Foxy.

QueenCadbury · 15/06/2013 19:52

My fantasy wish list would be a chanel 2.55 and an elie Saab dress such as this or this. Not that I would have any occasion to wear it though.

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2013 20:30

Oh yes love Elie Saab too, gorgeous dresses.

Fabulous sales shopping Anni!

foxysocks · 15/06/2013 20:41

thanks anni GREAT sales shopping! wish I'd been there to nab some jeans, still looking for a slouchy white skinny to no avail.

Drywhiteplease · 15/06/2013 21:11

QueenC fabulous Ellie Saab dresses..........

santamarianovella · 15/06/2013 21:21

queen that green elie saab dress is gorgeous!,

ani lovely haul, your are an amazing shopper.

i went to liberty today and nothing caught my eye, will wait for the nap sales for a markus lupfer sweater .i dont want to splurge ,im already getting excited about A/W shopping,so will save for that !

libertychick · 15/06/2013 21:26

Well done on the sales haul Anni.

QueenC I think you are right that I should wait to get my colours done before making any more purchases - especially expensive ones. I did have a wobble about the biker jacket for the same reason but I think a black biker is a classic I would wear regardless of the HoC verdict. I had never heard of Elie Saab before seeing your links - that green one is just amazing - oh to have (a) the cold hard cash and (b) the life that required such a dress.

Hello Decam great idea to save for a Burberry - as I decided not to buy the Marant blouse I have instead put the £73 into my savings account. Maybe a Burberry, maybe a bag....

Dry I have a better Haka story than DD's poo!! One of my friends reckons the sexual high point of her life was a one nighter in a hostel in NZ where the object of her affections did a one man haka for her at the end of the bed before getting down to business! I have requested the same from DH but have been consistently refused (spoilsport!)
