It's BETTY for 40% off shop on the Swedish Hasbeens site. I got free delivery with it too.

shopafrolic · 03/06/2013 21:04

Thanks Amber quite tempted again....... I've never tried them though. How will you style them?

Portia4 · 03/06/2013 21:09

Wore my white Hasbeens today with Boden 'Skinny' jeans rolled up with deep cuff, they look quite nice, plan to also wear them with boyfriend jeans.

MarshaBrady · 03/06/2013 21:10

Paris love the dress. Lol at win win.

Novice incredible shopping. Love the Atwoods and Armani. The Kors too, the colour is fabulous.

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 03/06/2013 21:13

Portia. I wear my (silver) hasbeens with jeans too. On Pinterest they are often styled with tea dresses and that doesn't suit me at all.

shopafrolic · 03/06/2013 21:13

Which ones have you got Portia?

I've been waiting for you all to enable me to buy the saltwaters. Should I or not?

I was looking at old photos today and had a lightbulb moment as I realised what a difference it makes when I wear winter colours. I really do look better. Hopefully when I'm 80 I'll look back at photos from now onwards and always look great Grin

AmberNectarine · 03/06/2013 21:25

I got the white papillons and I'm going to wear them with cropped indigo skinnies or the Jimmy Jimmys.

MarshaBrady · 03/06/2013 21:28

I say do it QueenC. Wear with cut off denim shorts a la Chung?

Portia4 · 03/06/2013 21:30

Sorry don't know why that popped up twice.
I can't see my self wearing them with a dress, it's not my style and I'd feel very sensible IYSWIM !

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 03/06/2013 21:30

Scratch the itch QueenC!

shopafrolic · 03/06/2013 21:33

I love these ones the nubuck red. I'm just not sure I'll get much use from them with DS.
Also like these in tan but I think they'd be better on smaller feet.
I think I'm talking myself out of it again......

QueenCadbury · 03/06/2013 21:42

They are lovely shop. Get them Grin.

marsha you've enabled me I think. I'll sleep on it as I'm too tired now to think about what colour I want. If I do get them I'll have to return the gap bag to justify it.

Although what happened to me supposedly not buying anything? I'm so rubbish Grin.

BrandyAlexander · 03/06/2013 22:01

Go on QueenCGrin

So, here is my returns list....

Vivienne Westwood top, lovely but I am too short waisted. Wasn't worth £300, but someone taller would look great in it.

armani red dress. I was hedging my bets so i ordered it in the 8 and the other navy one in a 6. This one too big so back it goes.

I can't even begin to describe how bad I looked in this scratchy roksanda ilincic dress!

This is the only dress I was umming about. I got it in the beige. maxmara but don't think it works. I think the black is nicer actually but I have lots of black dresses

this pucci cardigan arrived absolutely filthy and destroyed.Shock

carrie74 · 03/06/2013 22:17

Grumpy the trilby's an old one, and I have no idea where it was from. There is every likelihood it's a kids one as I have a remarkably small head Grin. I had another one (again years old) from Forever21 that was all patterned. Loved that one. Saw quite a few in TK Maxx at the weekend.

Novice superb haul, love the Attwood's and the dresses especially. Swit swoo!

Foxy glad to hear Lisbon gets the thumbs up from MrFoxy. I keep hearing it's v cheap: hurrah! But boo at only hand luggage so can't bring anything home...

Queen get planning now. We started talking about doing something last year : I knew if we didn't actually organise something, we'd just let it slide, and I really didn't want that to happen (it happened for my supposed NYC trip for my 35th, now postponed for my 40th [gulp] next year. But now H is going to Vegas with his mates next year for a joint 40th, plus my mum wants a big family reunion next year before they get too old - my SIL will also turn 50 same day as I'm 40, so big year. Will I manage to fit in NYC too? Seems a tall order TBH...).

one sterling effort. My exercise has slipped by the wayside of late, and I really need to do something, as energy levels are dropping, and tummy pouch is inflating. You're an inspiration!

Drywhiteplease · 03/06/2013 22:18

Awwwww shucks shop........... And Shop my scarf is lovely.ive not done a lot of corally red, but it looks lovely and I'll wear it loads........and what lovely packaging, can't have enough tissue and ribbon IMO !

Drywhiteplease · 03/06/2013 22:20

Oh and really would love to come to the MU ,you all sound such great women, but it's just a bit far....however,next time I have a trip to London planned ( always well in advance) I shall let you all know. Smile cue mass exodus

shopafrolic · 03/06/2013 22:24

Glad the scarf's a goodie Dry - I keep having to hide all the pink bags from DH! And YY to meeting up when you head London bound.

Ooh, novice I love the Roksanda Ilincic reject dress, looks v flattering on your pin. Hate it when something is so different on.

Stop linking Hasbeens!! I'm getting tempted, and I know I've got nowhere to wear them and would look like my mum (and not the cool 70s version). Argh!!

OneLittleLady · 03/06/2013 22:32

dry we should have a northern MU......if there's anyone else north side that is

Drywhiteplease · 03/06/2013 22:41

Great idea!

McNally · 03/06/2013 23:30

Lovely photo sleep. Gorgeous dress. Fantastic figure. Am jealous!

Amazing haul novice. Some really lovely stuff. Where on earth do you find the time to shop with such a busy job? I only work part time and I can't manage it!

QueenC you should get those sandals. Love the colour. I think that if you're still thinking about something the day after, you should buy. I've usually forgotten about stuff I've seen so if I remember it, it is meant to be.

Impressive work doing the Shred when injured One. Hope arm is getting better.

Your work sounds gorgeous Ujjayi.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 04/06/2013 00:30

Novice I'm in awe of your superior shopping skills. I bow to your greatness (and wish at least one of those Armani dresses for myself)

Drywhite you must have ordered the same scarf as I did, thanks to Shop for introducing me to yet another means to part me from my ever-diminishing cash! I loved the packaging too - such service. The bargainous Hudsons were also a terrific fit and a complete success. Carrie I did a crazy thing today and paid £64 for the perfect Chloe straw trilby for DD2, but I know she'll look really cool in it. I'd better check out TK Maxx for myself. Now searching a backless bra to go with my halterneck Marc Jacobs top as I'm way too old to go bra-less - my sister recommends Ultimo (and as she's a lingerie buyer, who am I to argue?). It's my 20 year anniversary in Sept Shock - any suggestions for celebration?

Drywhiteplease · 04/06/2013 08:06

Grumpy:
A night in Le Manoir
A balloon trip with DH over my beautiful home county
A party in a Yurt, hog roast, fires...in the garden of my local pub
A trip to Cartier on Bond st
A New Years anniversary party in a Scottish Castle with reeling ( will never happen....unless I befriend the QueenWink )
Venice....we went for 10yrs
The first two are serious contenders. But then what to do for 25?Grin
