Sorry for the lack of B's in my posts at the mo. The key on my laptop seems to be on an intermittant strike!

Annianni · 03/06/2013 17:32

St Annes was lovely Paris.
Not too busy either.

Rather annoyed by all the dogs on the beach though, even though there's huge signs up saying no dogs between May and September.

carrie74 · 03/06/2013 17:33

Paris that dress is very wow, and I think as long as you wear it with chutzpah, you'll be great Smile

carrie74 · 03/06/2013 17:36

Thanks Sleep, Cascais looks beautiful. Not sure we'll venture far: H wants to pretty much laze around and enjoy being able to do so (seems pretty enticing to me too!). The thing about Lisbon is there don't seem to be quite the same number of "must sees" as many other capitals, so hopefully we can chill, eat tapas, swim, spa and just enjoy Smile.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 03/06/2013 17:40

Love your style Carrie. Do you have a link to your straw trilby? Really keen on them, but I want one that's just so and they all seem to be the wrong type of straw/multicoloured or ribbony bands (fussy? Moi?)

Wow, Paris - that dress really is a statement! But I reckon petite and leggy could really carry it off. Good on ya.

BrandyAlexander · 03/06/2013 18:00

Hello lovely ladies Smiledh safely in Far East. Selfridges package has arrived. Just about to start try outGrin

foxysocks · 03/06/2013 18:12

yep, sleep, teaching yoga. fab pics btw you are tres glam!

carrie dinner outfit sounds perfect, i hope you have fun. DH just got back from a work trip there, he said it was amazing and SO CHEAP.

currently playing chicken with matches then - the only thing I want is still a bit too expensive with only 30% off. and my white jeans hunt is going nowhere fast, i might even be over it now. maybe something fab will come up on the outnet over the next few weeks.

GrinGrin I am in love. 100% giddy. The Atwoods are gorgeous. Good call MNV!

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 03/06/2013 18:53

Those are the caged sandals aren't they Novice?

Envy
Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 03/06/2013 18:57

Thanks for the dress comments. I think I'll probably look like a total arsehole in it, which will save me £138 (that would be good) or it'll look amazing, which means that I won't look like a total arsehole (that would also be good). Win/win situation Grin

Now....if only I knew someone with some awsome Brian Atwood sandals that I could borrow to go with it.......

BrandyAlexander · 03/06/2013 19:14

Hi Paris, yes they are. They are just perfect. . pinterest.com/pin/380202393512452848/

So the others keepers are the sandals and then...

Michael Kors dress, which looks fantastic.

helmut lang knitted jumper, although I am slightly dubious about size. Ordered a Small and just wonder if its too baggy. But it's out of stock so can't check.

wang cropped top. Looks and feels fab. I think it might be too big though, so I have just ordered an xs to check size.

KG pumps which are fine with a half insole.

I didn't fess up to having also bought this armani dress but its fab.

Err and this armani dress tooBlush

BrandyAlexander · 03/06/2013 19:15

GrinGrin Paris.

OneLittleLady · 03/06/2013 19:20

Oh god, I just did the 30 day shred work out after some time off from it due to injury (i'm still meant to be resting my arm, i just missed out the press ups) and my legs are on fire, my stomach muscles are crying out to me and I honestly could just curl up and never move again. I'm only on level one as well Blush have to start shifting some weight though or i'm just going to get fatter and fatter. My new incentive is that i'm putting money away each time i do the work out so that when i eventually lose enough weight, I will have some money to spend on naice new clothes Grin

Drywhiteplease · 03/06/2013 19:36

Novice it's all fabulous! Love the Armani dress.
One well done and good idea re saving money for new wardrobe
My neighbour took in my scarf from Room parcel....but she's not in and I'm getting desperate!!!!

Btw I stayed awake during my course today.....this was due to the Shock at it being led by one of the Chuckle brothers and Dame Edna look alikes ( not intentional) and a woman in clogs!Grin

happyreindeer · 03/06/2013 19:37

Onelittlelady decloaking to day Davina Mccoll dvd "Davina Fit" is really good.

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 03/06/2013 19:39

Bravo Novice. What a great haul!

Well done OneLittle. I admire your determination. I have restarted level 1 of the shred too many times.

How surreal Dry!

LinusDKD · 03/06/2013 19:43

Novice as usual you are the Queen of Shopping.

On an equally glamorous note: the JL knickers Foxy recommended gave arrived and I will try them on tomorrow to see if they fit.

Paris that dress is a very daring choice but if you are slim and leggy I think you can pull it off. Looks like something Diane Kruger might wear and I love her style.

I gave the mint green scarf to a friend today to see if she or her girlfriend look better in it than me.

Even though I am a SAHM DS has gone to nursery for two days a week since he was 8 months old and when I got pregnant with DD he started going an extra day. He absolutely loves it because he can play with other children and they do things that I couldn't (or wouldn't) do at home.

DD will start in August when she's 10 months old and I am counting the days.

QueenCadbury · 03/06/2013 19:56

novice I am absolutely in love with those Atwoods. I'm going to pin them to my fantasy wardrobe Grin. Also love the Armani.

paris hope the dress works out. As you say if it does it will look amazing.

carrie v Envy of your trip. Our 10yr is next year so hoping for a little trip away.

I can't get the saltwater sandals out of my head but with 2 pairs Birkenstocks and a pair of havs, can I justify them?

santamarianovella · 03/06/2013 20:25

paris i love love your dress! i really like three floor designs.

novice very impressive shopping.

one well done,

queen i know how you feel,DD will start nursery in september, and although its still months away,it really scares me!

shopafrolic · 03/06/2013 20:26

Nice one Novice I love the first Armani too and the Atwoods are still stunning!
happyreindeer stick around, you're becoming to regular at decloaking! :)

Hi QueenC, the settling thing is so hard. I was in bits 3 weeks ago when ds had his first settling in session. Yet tonight he's just happily told me its nursery tomorrow. Just 3 weeks later. I have a full time nanny but he still goes 2 mornings a week because in the long run its good for him. If I was a sahm, he would have gone earlier purely because I would need the rest!

Paris, I love the dressSmile yup would go well with the attwoods!Grin

One, well done you. I finally got back in the gym on Friday after a 3 week break and it was hard work. The shred sounds like hard work!

shopafrolic · 03/06/2013 20:45

Help me out lovely ladies. There was a code for Hasbeens. I thought it was on this thread. I can't find it! Can anyone remember what it was, what site, what code and if it's still valid? God I'm shit!
