My saltwaters arrived and I love them!

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2013 21:11

Linus it's v cheap, but works on me....I'm 5ft3. I think when you're shorter you need to keep the silhouette fitted.....see all the years reading suzannah and trinny books has paid off! Grin

shopafrolic · 10/06/2013 21:14

i bought them from shopbop linus, and if you dont like it as a skirt it can be worn as an awesome dress, but i can only wear it with a padded strapless bra,did a little trial test a few days a go ,and it didnt slip!

Shop Achica is good for house stuff as discounted. Also Twenty Twenty One is lovely, but a bit expensive, maybe ok in the sales.

LinusDKD · 10/06/2013 21:30

dry I'm not following. What is very cheap?

shopafrolic · 10/06/2013 21:40

Thanks Marsha will have a browse. Roll on MiC

Oh yes forgot about that! We've been really enjoying it. Phoebe is highly unpleasant atm Grin

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2013 21:42

That grin is because I care about such stuff, not that I'm overjoyed that she is awful.

shopafrolic · 10/06/2013 22:02

Great mask tho! And Spencer's gone bonkers. Bring it on!

OneLittleLady · 10/06/2013 22:17

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2013 22:21

Fabulous. It will be great.

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2013 22:26

Oops linus the link Smile
cheap petite maxi skirt that works for me
Only I'd prefer a slightly thicker jersey

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2013 22:27

Don't know why it takes you to US site...I bought it in uk.
Well done One

LeFreakCestChic · 10/06/2013 23:45

just bought this. Delurking to Add to the maxi skirt chat. Have been humming and hawing over a maxi and a tube skirt so 2 birds with 1 stone and all that. Have also mulled over navy CBS black together but it looks fab. Am v pleased with it, just need to find bloody amazing big pants now!

LeFreakCestChic · 10/06/2013 23:46

Eh? CBS?
and
If anyone's seen a top they think would particularly go with it please do tell....

LinusDKD · 11/06/2013 05:49

dry thanks, it looks good and at that price it might be worth a try.

LeFreak I had spotted that skirt on the Asos website and it's beautiful but I fear that the stripes might accentuate my curves thunderthighs

Santa what size do you take in the splendid? I know you are slimmer than me but do you think I can get away with a medium?

Hopefully · 11/06/2013 06:53

I have a knee length Splendid tube skirt and I wear it all the time. Although it's thin fabric, it's double layer so not too bad on the VPL front, and feels more comfy and more stylish than leggings/jeans etc (I wear it for casual, often with slouchy M&S cream t-shirt or loose sweater). I am actually contemplating a second one...

Got up at 5:20am today to do Ripped before work, as no other time to do it today. It better start paying off quickly! Yawn.

Hopefully · 11/06/2013 06:55

BTW, I appreciate my knee length tube is no use for the maxi-hunters, but am assuming the longer one will also be good.

MarshaBrady · 11/06/2013 10:02

LeFreak love that one.

I'm not great with maxis. Shop do you wear them?

Good work Hopefully, dedication. One consolation is that at least it's light that early.

Bit dreary here today, sunshine would be nice.

OneLittleLady · 11/06/2013 10:08

Deary but warm here, in my navy and cream polka dot River Island dress and fluffy navy cardi. Think my sister's stretched my dress though as it's not as snug as it was Hmm
