Sleep I just had a look at your pinboards, really like your wardrobe - everything seems to go well together. You seem to really know your style. I have started following you.

Sleepwhenidie · 05/06/2013 13:43

Tough one grumpy, I think it is lovely but I can't wear pattern like that, think it is one that you may have to try on to really tell Confused

Marsha what fantastic news. Great about the nursery too Smile. Sounds like it is working out well.

QueenC I am definitely up for enabling helping you dress shop in the Autumn Grin.

Are we (those who already said yes and anyone else who fancies it) still on for a MU on 6 July? PM me if you haven't said yes already Smile

QueenCadbury · 05/06/2013 13:58

Congrats marsha and one.

grumpy your link is being too slow to open so I got impatient with it. I reckon all the lurkers must be clicking on it too Grin.

foxy are they non vpl? I need new pants since bloody m&s changed theirs. Why do they always do that when you find something you like.

faddy lovely jumper and skirt

shop and barbie nice dresses. You must have no lumps and bumps Envy

hopefully are you there?? There was an article in grazia this week about your skort!

sleep I can't make 6 July as away but I will definately try and get a date for autumn. It's always tricky though as eldest dcs birthdays are sept/oct so always busy with parties/family. If I need the dress for the first weekend in November when do you all think would be the best time to shop? I don't want to do it too early as I want to wait for the party season dresses to come out but I don't want to leave it too late either Confused.

Drywhiteplease · 05/06/2013 14:04

Barbie and Shop thanks for the pores recommendations....will visit Clinique ASAP.
Grumpy I'm 5.3 and would wear that dress, really like it.. Think we like similar things. As long as it fits you well, I think it would look great as a holiday dress.....tempted myself
Marsha and One great stuff....new chapters, fresh starts and all that.
Thanks all for the support after my whine about DD.....sure it will work itself out.....might just send big brother ( rugby team captain) in if it gets bad ( which I'm sure it won't )

Big mistake....bought my fav Chanel no 19 Eau de Parfumerie duty free at Easter. Just opened it, smelled different, bought the "No19 poudrée " by mistake...looks exactly the same in box. Quite nice but don't feel like me and kids today said I smelled of strawberries!

Drywhiteplease · 05/06/2013 14:05

Eau de parfum...damm !

Oh the envelope's back......but still no "my MN"

OneLittleLady · 05/06/2013 14:09

oooh, I love No19 poudree. just out of my price range at the minute. Things have been very tight of late. Hopefully they are now on the up though Smile

MrsRadicchio · 05/06/2013 14:40

A quick canvas of opinion, I am considering buying a pair of white or metallic brogues - this sort of thing:
white
white and silver
metallic

What would I wear them with? I'm trying to figure out if they would fit into my wardrobe or not.

Thanks!

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 15:12

Love the idea MrsR and some cute ideas brogue pins here

QueenC I definitely have lumps and bumps - I just try really hard not to give a shit and hope I can carry things off anyway :)

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 15:23

Sleep I want to go and nose at your Pin but can't find you!

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 15:31

Thanks for relinking the pants Foxy - not sure whether I should get a 12 or a 14? I wear a 30 jean, 12 in some things, 14 in others. Any recommendation?

santamarianovella · 05/06/2013 15:34

congrats marsha, and please link all your work purchases!

grumpy im not that keen on big prints, but the color is lovely.

shop i wear ck hipsters but im not that tall, and hardly ever get the chance to flash my underwear! and SJP is wearing the hasbeens they look great on her.

barbie love the james perse dress,.and love your beauty list! i use bioderma as a makeup remover

mrsR im afraid im not that big of a help i dont know how to wear brogues at all!

queen i think the best time might be end of oct, .are you still thinking about the sandals?

QueenCadbury · 05/06/2013 16:12

santa I can't stop thinking about those bloody sandals Grin! My birkies kept slipping off my feet chasing dd today so I'm sure that I need something more secure to keep my feet in so I may order tonight....

I'll be in euro disney at end of oct (remind me why I chose to go there for my 40th?!) so it'll have to be mid oct anyway. But what if I leave it that late and don't find anything? I can feel the panic already with 4 months to go!!

QueenCadbury · 05/06/2013 16:13

mrsr my fave from those linked would be the metallic ones. I like brogues but not sure what to wear with them?

QueenCadbury · 05/06/2013 16:22

sleep who are you on Pinterest? I'm sure I am following you but not entirely sure...

Annianni · 05/06/2013 16:26

Just checked online with dhl and it says my matches parcel was delivered at 11am and signed for by 'anna at number 12'

My house number is 3 figures, like 234.

Do I contact matches or dhl?

The parcel is worth almost £600.

I feel sick and dh is home (and obviously knows nothing about me trying boots on)

Annianni · 05/06/2013 16:31

Dh is going out at 5-30, so I'll ring dhl then.
I feel awful.

santamarianovella · 05/06/2013 16:31

ani, been there, dont panic, first contact dhl and explain to them.they will sort it out for you.

OneLittleLady · 05/06/2013 16:35

anni don't panic, just ring them and find out exactly where they left the parcel. Fingers crossed you get it sorted

LinusDKD · 05/06/2013 16:53

shop I wear a size 30 jeans as well and I bought the size 14 and they fit brilliantly. Not too tight and they might shrink a bit in the wash. So far I am very happy with them.

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 17:28

Thanks Linus
QueenC the Aerosmith roller coaster alone is reason enough for a visit to EuroDisney (and I've never been with kids!!) :)
Anni call DHL - they'll sort it

BrandyAlexander · 05/06/2013 17:34

Oh Marsha I am so happy for you! Many congratulations! Thanks

One, that's terrific newsSmile

I have spent a good chunk of today in rehearsals for the event. My coach said its looking good as now beginning to put in a performance, using tone, movement and expressions that are very "me" so that's my little bit of good news of the day.Smile I do have a dilemma though on clothes so will be back with links, as I am not convinced on dress now!

MarshaBrady · 05/06/2013 17:37

Thanks everyone!

MrsR it's a contract, it's better for me when there's a natural end, I tend to feel a bit enclosed otherwise!

Santa definitely! Linking new clothes one of the big attractions Grin

Dry how's your dd? Sorry to hear re sleep over issues. Always hard.

Anni oh no. Ring dhl they should sort it quickly.

MarshaBrady · 05/06/2013 17:38

Thanks Novice! Event prep is sounding good.
