Hi, I think I am Bltaddict on Pinterest.

I picked up a couple of tops at Zadig this morning, including the gold one I loved, at 30% off, sadly they hadn't reduced the cashmere or the python print leggings I have been coveting. Maybe in the proper sale....

I also found a lovely bag in a second hand designer shop...but can't find it online to link. It is Mulberry, seems genuine (quality brasswear, tags and serial number inside etc). It looks like a Daria but is kind of wavy stitched leather in a pinkish beige colour. Has a rectangular metal tag rather than the fixed oval disc on the outside, which I think means it must be pretty vintage - any Mulberry experts about Confused? I am happy with it, paid £230, but would like a little reassurance on its authenticityGrin

Drywhiteplease · 05/06/2013 17:50

You're all v lovely te DD drama.....so sorry for moaning, it just got to me. She'll be fine thanks.

sleep I can't find you either on Pinterest.
Novice you'll be amazing with all that prep......wear something you love and feel confident in.

Annianni · 05/06/2013 17:52

Panic over... I have the boots.

Rang dhl whilst dh was in the garden with the boys.
And apparently the parcel was sent to my previous address by matches... And had been left with a neighbour.
Not sure how that happened, as the Superga got here fine.

So I left dsd (who can't cook) cooking tea and frantically drove the 2 miles to our old house.

And the parcel was still at the neighbours house (thank fuck)

I nearly kissed him, I was so relieved :o

The couple who bought our house were not very nice people, I doubt they'd have given the parcel to me willingly.

So the boots are very nice, but a little too high for me to wear day to day... and they'll be going straight back tomorrow.

I think I need a drink now...

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 17:57

Well done Anni at least you tracked it down!
Sleep there's a website where they'll check authenticity that lots of people on here talk abotu but I've never used. If you search about buying genuine Mulberry on EBay you should track it down. If not, email Mulberry who will sometimes help.... Sounds lovely.
I might be in your neck of the woods in a few weeks time with DS..... wondering if he'd behave in Anna?

OneLittleLady · 05/06/2013 18:08

I hope DD is feeling better dry girls can be so cruel to each other Sad

santamarianovella · 05/06/2013 18:08

sleep im not an expert but if it has a serial number then it must be the the real deal, and i started following you on pinterest!your shopping at zadig sounds fab.

queen i wouldnt worry if i were you, most stores start stocking party season dresses from mid oct to late nov.your timing is spot on!,but its best to do some research first, otherwise you get this overwhelming feeling!

ani glad its sorted, i panicked a bit on your behalf! as i went through the exact thing before.

MarshaBrady · 05/06/2013 18:09

Oh I love that foxy for Foxy!

In three weeks Anni. Thank goodness! Definitely have a drink to get over that!

When my austique thing stuffed up I actually couldn't sleep at the thought of blowing £450 on nothing.

santamarianovella · 05/06/2013 18:10

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 18:10

Thanks for wardrobe compliment MrsRGrin

Love the James Perse Barbie, was tempted by that one myself but have a couple of too similar dresses already! Please give us some feedback on the Baujken dress, I ordered the blue ruched one last year but found it uncomfortable, too sucky in and too much ruching iykwim, so it went back.

Thanks for the tips re purse forum. Will get on there. I don't mind too much about authenticity as I really like it anyway and am 90% sure it's genuine but odd that I can't find a pic of it anywhere so I am now curious about its age and design Smile. If it isn't real I'll try for some money back though!

LinusDKD · 05/06/2013 19:17

I really don't need another stripy top shop otherwise I would buy that one as it is lovely. I do hope that a red breton I saw on the Ralph Lauren website goes on sale but I am not holding my breath.

Anni what a relief!

Grumpy I'm also a shortarse and I would wear that dress on holiday.

Such good news One and congratulations Marsha!

Barbie I am not impressed with IO quality. I bought some maternity wear when pregnant with DS and that was ok but bought a normal wrap dress last year and I think the material is quite flimsy and doesn't drape well. I much prefer Me & Em for jersey dresses.

I wore my cobalt gigis today and they really put a smile on my face. I have got an old red pair that I have to find so I can wear them again as they are so comfortable.

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 19:42

Linus not this one by any chance?

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 05/06/2013 19:48

It is this one

I think they are the same. Do you think it will be on sale?

A black bag for barbie

McQ

Annianni · 05/06/2013 19:49

Do I try pistols next in my boot quest?
The heels look a better height for me.

How much are they usually in the sale?
The matches ones are £245 with the 30% code.

Am I likely to get them any cheaper in the sales?

LinusDKD · 05/06/2013 19:51

Or this (hope it hasn't been linked to already):

Anya H

Oh and there is an extra 13% off at checkout.

Sleepwhenidie · 05/06/2013 19:54

Oh Shop, just saw this necklace and thought of you Smile

Sleepwhenidie · 05/06/2013 19:56

I would grab a pair of Pistols at £245 Anni, wouldn't want to take a chance on them selling out in proper sale...they are so comfy, perfect height.

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 20:07

Linus I selfishly hope not as after months of searching and getting everyone involved in my quest for the perfect red and cream breton I paid full price for it!

Love that Sleep! If you see anything similar but gold coloured then please shout.

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 05/06/2013 20:21

Oh oh oh, you bought it! In what size? I am soooo tempted to order it tonight.

DH is traveling again (last week, this week and next week) and I feel like a little pick-me-up.

Barbie1 · 05/06/2013 20:28

Thanks for all the bag links. For some reason I just can't get excited about black Hmm keep them coming though, I'm sure ill find one soon.

Decided against the dress, as you said too much £££ for a crappy material.

Me&em have sold out of the small in the maxi, so I will place on order on the 20th when the new stock arrives.

linus love the top, I have one similar on my wish list, can't cant quite remember the brand now.

I'm going to lay off ordering anything in case it doesn't arrive here in time for our move next Friday. Instead I'm going to wait until I get back to the uk, if I see something fab ill order it then. Failing that it gives me more to spend in l
