I'm thinking of ordering this www.isabellaoliver.com/baukjen/uk/600/dresses/DR570.html to wear with cons just like the model, would work for scho run, casual day with kids etc. what do you think?

FaddyPeony · 05/06/2013 10:22

It's all coming together. I've been on the phone with student finance and they've told me that because I withdrew from uni the first time, if I send in proof of medical reasons, I can get a 'gift year' so I can be funded for the full four years instead of the three I have left!

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 10:44

Nice dress Barbie - which colour will you go for?

There are some fantastic savings on Christopher Kane on the Outnet and I have seen some great savings on Cocosa which is currently stocking Melissa Odabash swimwear, Marc by Marc Jacobs(I bought a small bag for £39) and La Perla. Great DVF summer day dresses too.

I bought this black Christopher Kane dress

Thanks Shop and Foxy. You know all those interviews I kept going to and going on about, well it worked out! I pretty much need to build an entire work-related wardrobe.

I need to do the work for a bit (you know to get paid) but am thinking J Crew, pencil skirts, low heels, mine are very high and for going out really, also Comptoir de C silk blouse, it's a shame I missed their sale. And will be using the outnet for sure.

It's a good project / role I'm looking forward to it, I think!

OneLittleLady · 05/06/2013 12:00

Brilliant new marsha Smile

shopafrolic · 05/06/2013 12:08

Wow! Congratulations Marsha that's great news, especially after all the stress. Does that mean you get to keep the fab nanny?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 05/06/2013 12:15

Thanks!

Fab nanny is elsewhere for three days. She has been lovely and we could do a share but it's not close so could be too tricky.

Lovely nursery has looked at free days due to rolling holidays. Am very grateful!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 05/06/2013 13:02

Can I ask opinion on this for my upcoming trip to Portugal? I too am shortarse petite and don't want to be overwhelmed by big print. Looks good on the model, but will it swamp me?

Barbie Thanks for the beauty tips - just ordered the Elemis body oil as it sounds delicious.

MrsRadicchio · 05/06/2013 13:38

Welcome barbie what a collection, great bags, love the leather jacket.

I like that baukjen dress but baukjen seem to be particularly bad at using lots of man made fibres and charging through the nose for it - their sales seem to be good iirc. I do really like it though and think it would look really nice with converse. Would also work in colder weather with tights and flats / boots.

Nice shopping Faddy, I really like the skirt and think it will look lovely with the grey top - really nice colour combo.

Congrats on the job Marsha, is it a permanent role? Nice to have to buy some work clothes!

One the course sounds great! Echo everyone in saying you should go for it.

Grumpy I don't think it would swamp you, on screen at least the print seems quite muted.

Nice dress Shop - can't help with the pants dilemma though, never wear short skirts without tights and boots combo (leg related rather than for modesty issues)

Dry - hope your DD is feeling ok now.

I seem to have done a bit of shopping recently, wasn't planning on it as trying to wait for sales.

asos bf jeans - like the style, not sure what I'll wear them with?

polka dot - have pre ordered, but wanted grey wool peg trousers, these may fit the bill. The polka dots are a bit "fun" but I like them!

leopard midi

leopard flats - to be worn with skirt, of course Wink

love these
