Am not shop (obvs), but I don't think it's too small. You look great.

MarshaBrady · 04/03/2013 20:34

Great colour on you too.

foxysocks · 04/03/2013 20:36

thanks marsha - should have taken the slippers off really. i think it's fine all over - perfect sleeve length, good across my shoulders etc - i'd just like it to be that touch longer . nevermind, shall get used to it and love it anyway!

shopafrolic · 04/03/2013 20:40

Well hello foxy! The colour is great on you. That's about the size of the sweater on me. You need to be brave, and try it without a layer underneath - just jeans. You seem to have amazing legs and a tiny bum?! Jealous! I'd try it with either a shorter layer or no layer at all. I'm only just getting used to not covering my crotch area (fear of camel toe!) but it does look good I promise.
Anyway, looks nice as it too!! Definitely worth keeping i'd say.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 04/03/2013 20:44

It's better than mine, mine is far too big ie wide. But I've got it on and don't want to take it off and that's a good sign isn't it (oh well am going with it).

Yy try without layer underneath, and yes to great legs so go with no layer or shorter one (what shop said!)

foxysocks · 04/03/2013 20:46

no layers?! bum on show?! not sure i can do either of those shop! maybe will give it a go with my straight leg jeans tomorrow. ok, points noted, thanks both of you. x

am off to take them down pronto as they have had loads of views (lurkers! there must be loads) and it's freaking me out a bit....

shopafrolic · 04/03/2013 20:50

Foxy without sounding like a weirdo you have a cracking figure. Try it! I bet it works......
How tall are you / dress size?

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 04/03/2013 20:51

And Marsha I think wider would work too, the neckline is great. Love it! 3 little MNV rays of sunshine!

MarshaBrady · 04/03/2013 20:52

Exactly! Grin

MrsRadicchio · 04/03/2013 20:53

A lot to catch up on...

Foxy just looked at your pics and the jumper looks great. Like it with the longer top underneath.

Marsha hope you like yours!

Shop sorry to hear about your DH's job. Sounds like you are both being very calm and clear headed about it.

QueenCad I am thinking of getting my colours done. Exeter is also a trek for me though. Let us know how you get on, how exciting to have them done by hopefully!

Hello dona, I have always enjoyed your posts (as a lurker), in fact have bought a few books on your recommendations - the one about why we overshop and the other about wardrobe decluttering . I should shop my wardrobe more too.

I've been looking through this blog since seeing her on the outnet. Its all a bit trendy for me, but she suggests wearing five of your favourite items at once, i.e not caring about matching things, and says people are always surprised how well it turns out. Not tried it myself yet...

foxysocks · 04/03/2013 20:54

i'm 5'9ish and usually an 8. i'm surprised that a 10 (well, a S but equiv to a 10) is that short on me but i guess it's the boxy style.

i don't have much body confidence, but it has got a LOT better over the last few years. will try styling it again tomorrow. thank you SO much for the feedback shop (and nice comments!). off to bed now as have an early alarm, zzzz...

shopafrolic · 04/03/2013 20:54

BTW it does bobble a bit. I've just taken mine to be dry cleaned as am too scared to wash cashmere (I don't own any!) and he says he'll sort it for me.... I love it so much though and at that price I don't care!! Wish i'd got both colours now.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 04/03/2013 20:56

Blimey foxy!!!! Try it!!!!!! I'm 5ft 9 and a 12ish! If I can do it you and your size 8 booty can definitely lose the layers xx

I want a jersey blazer after reading Amber's latest blog post!

MrsRadicchio · 04/03/2013 20:57

Shop I never said thanks for having a look for some trousers for me. It was a tall order but some good ones.

Topazandpearl · 04/03/2013 20:59

Sorry about the news shop. I hope it works out for the best asap. Please don't go anywhere, your posts add so much.

The jumper looks lovely foxy, don't worry, there are a lot of us who lurk more than post, but are not really lurkers Smile.

shopafrolic · 04/03/2013 21:00

My jersey blazer order should arrive tomorrow.... Will have to see if the final keepers or if they have to go back...... Glad the trouser links were kind of okay. It was a tough brief :)

Apologies for the slightly random posts from me, x posted.

Anyway another random one, oxfam online have quite a few whistles bits and pieces here

QueenCadbury · 04/03/2013 21:09

foxy I missed the pics. Am gutted. You'll have to show me irl when you arrange the Bristol meet up!

shop do stay. I'm not exactly a big spender myself but I like this thread as there's no bitchiness.

They definitely have the gap bag in yellow. I saw them whilst shopping yesterday and went back today to get the navy and then got home to the email about the 30% off but I don't think I can face another trek to the shops to return it. John Lewis also had some yellow bags.

Can't seem to link to the rosé gold bracelets. Am I doing something wrong in that when I leave the page to copy a link and then return to paste it, it's all disappeared. Does that make sense?? Anyway, at the top of the wish list Is tiffanys but that isn't ever going to happen, followed by the Monica viander one but I'd like to see it irl and then there's fossil or Michael kors.

MarshaBrady · 04/03/2013 21:12

There are a few fluff bobbles on mine, just loose ones I brushed off. But I feel like I will forgive it anything - for the colour, softness and the price. I feel the same Shop! Love it.

Not like the Iris&Ink which only had to look at me the wrong way and was in the corner, well that'd be the £150 no discount that did it.

QueenC that happens to me on my iphone.

Mrsap · 04/03/2013 21:17

Well foxy, all I can say is if I had your figure I'd be delighted! Good colour for you too. Def keep.

Shop, please stay. I am not that big a spender either....but it is good fun watching and seeing others delight in their purchases.

Amber....thx for the tip off....shame I can't justify that much right now. Wish I couldHmm.

Anni, will look in gap at the weekend. Thx

Mrsap · 04/03/2013 21:20

Ohh, thx queencadbury I will check out JL too.

QueenCadbury · 04/03/2013 21:24

Have just started a thread about dyeing. Anyone had any success? Last time I tried the stitching didn't change colour.

AmberNectarine · 04/03/2013 21:41

Most things stitched with polyester thread these days, which won't take dye. Permanent marker can work.

Urgh, have horrendous cold, and am feeling shite. Have to be up at the crack and have been working all evening. Poxy job. Will buck my ideas up and get back to blogging tomorrow.

One slight glimmer of joy on the horizon though. Managed to win a £100 Matches voucher on fleabay for 30 squid. Safe to say that I'd going in the bag fund.

QueenCadbury · 04/03/2013 21:48

Thanks amber. I'd kind of assumed that stitching was always cotton. Hope you feel better soon.
