Morning all! Have the khaki trousers on today with my old faithful grey peacock A&W sweatshirt and black leather converse. Heading out with DS shopping so will put on GAP leather bomber and Mint Velvet fur gilet over the top.
DH and I have a rare date night tonight - we're off to see Micky Flanaghan live - really looking forward to some laughs after all the recent stress with DH job.
EMail confirmation has arrived that Massimo order has now despatched at least! Not overly impressed.

Shop ah love him. We laughed so much at the ambience thing he does in a restaurant.

Novice good luck with schools, sure it will be the right choice.

I have one more day at home this half term then ds1 to gps and ds2 to nursery at which point I will look in shops, do lunches and generally mill about can't wait!

Morning Voguettes! Thanks Marsha and Shop school choice made now. Spent half of last night reading what other mumsnetter had said about our choice. Thankfully mostly good but this is scary stuff!

So, back to more fun things...yesterday so the debut of the black Armani Collezioni black jacket. Can't find a link but will try again. Jacket is beautiful and feels great. I was going to wear the Armani light jacket but it just didn't work but don't know whether it was the dress I was wearing it with. Today, I am wearing another Damsel in a dress, no link as a couple of seasons old, its a long jersey dress with ruching which comes together in a knot and then long swooshy belt. Looks nice but would look so amazing on someone 4" taller. Paring it with Jimmy Choo Mary Janes, Balenciaga bag. Jewellery is platinum and diamonds - pendant, studs, raindance ring plus a big silver cuff.

I am thinking if the Armani jacket doesn't work as a cover jacket then I will go for this Damsel in a dress jacket. I ordered it last night in black and white so will see what happens. The armani one is still lovely so may just go back and get the skirt to go with it and wear it as a skirt suit.

Shop that Alexander Wang dress is beautiful. Theory also do one like it (I assume cheaper?). My friend wore one to work last week and teamed it with a black jacket. She looked amazing and it was fabulously edgy for the City.

Liberty.... Oh to be 5'6". People thought I was that height for years. My flat shoes in pregnancy was a big shock for them!! I tend to favour dresses for work now to avoid the crapped in pants look.

Queen Cadbury i'm BS7, so not too far! my DD is at the new school, BF, if that means anything to you?

shop i'm sure the school will work out - i found it stressful too and that was only for primary. I'll be a wreck when it's secondary time

glad i'm not the only one obsessed with grey sweaters amber! i keep saying no more then find another which just fits into my wardrobe too perfectly to ignore. I tried one on at the weekend with pink/yellow leopard print pattern, it was THE perfect level of slouch and i really want some animal print for spring. I might go back and get it but am supposed to have stopped spending till march, whoops.

i love zoe karrssen too (sorry I can't scroll back and see who mentioned her sweatshirt), got a tee via zalando delivered yesterday. was £30 down from £70 with the discount+voucher code. it looks red on the website but is more of a coral colour in an attempt to break away from my bad grey/charcoal/navy tee habit. today I feel grim so have done school run in juicy trackies, uggs and a grey sweat over neon coral vest. feel free to kick my off the board right now, I deserve it! am planning on a couple of billable hours now (am freelance) before getting dressed properly for nursery pick up, i promise...

Ooh lovely amber but not practical for me and over budget. Need a cross body bag either just big enough for purse, keys etc or large enough to fill with nappies, drink, snack etc. I really love the zatchels one but just not sure about the metallic.

Wonder if dh can be persuaded that I need both navy and cobalt for Mother's Day...?

Ok you've all convinced me. The metallic cobalt shall be mine. Do I go for navy as well? And I still want a silver bag. And a grey one. Sigh. So many bags, so little money (or occasion to use them!)

Hi Foxy, don't worry! QueenC it's primary school. You only get a week to accept the offers and the deposits are up to £1000 so we needed to make up mind. Just so desperate to make the right decision for the dcs. The stress of parenthood eh?
