(and the orange woman said oooh it's really economical you only need 2 or 3 pumps Grin)

Heathcliffscathy · 11/05/2006 10:26

oi cd

puff · 11/05/2006 10:40

tamum - if you have some little pots, take them to the orange dragons Grin on the make up counters and get them to put some foundation in the pot for you to try over a few days. I find that a foundation might be great on day one, but a lot of them dry my skin out badly, so I have to choose carefully.

If both Jools and GDG rate Double Wear, maybe give that a try.

There's also a new one out from Lancome - not sure of the name, but it's in a pot and is a mousse consistency - I really like it, but had just bought the Chanel, so even I couldn't justify buying another foundation Grin!

Oooohhh am off to Bluewater next week to have a pre wedding thingy and will deffo ask them to try this on me - I never use foundation just a bit of touche eclait on the old eye bags - skin not too bad and to be honest I don't go anywhere where I care what people think of me that much to wear it - but have been told will deffo need some for wedding day so thanks to all you gals hopefully I will look super great!!

poptot · 11/05/2006 11:14

I've got awful spots since using it and I don't think the coverage is that good so mines been condemned to the bathroom drawer never too be used again. Honestly I look like I've got a teenage outbreak of acne.

essbee · 11/05/2006 15:18

Well if anyone has any spare limpides... Wink[gron] Absolutely addicted here. Great coverage without being masked iykwim. I only use about half a pump too.

CountessDracula · 11/05/2006 15:39

i have just taken mine off as I was going very pink

This has happened a couple of times. I think it's just too heavy for me

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 15:42

the longest thread I ever started and it is about make up
I think Simone de Beauvoir and the Pankhursts would be proud Wink

I ALREADY PUT ALMOST NONE ON!

JoolsToo · 11/05/2006 16:47

don't listen cd - its rubbish.

btw - anyone who is interested in DoubleWear you can samples from the Estee Lauder counter.

Anyone who wants a sample of Vital etc in beige let me know and I'll send you mine.

essbee · 11/05/2006 17:13

Actually for those of you who have tried it and don't like it, take it back! You would be amazed at what they will take back and for what reason.

damnit · 11/05/2006 17:22

I bought some but I haven't found it that good. If I only put a tiny bit on I don't get enough coverage, if I put anymore on I feel sticky. I was going to take it back but ds dropped the pot on the floor and broke the lid, so I'm stuck with it now.

threelittlebabies · 11/05/2006 22:20

essbee I would, but I just know I have thrown the receipt away so Boots will say I could have bought it anywhere! May persevere, I guess the spots and the foundation could be coincidental??!

ntt · 11/05/2006 22:37

Well I bought the new one - Pro Lumiere (professional finish don't you know) the other day and it's very nice. The Lady said it was better than Vitalumiere.

beety · 14/05/2006 07:32

I have bought some and aply it with my MAC stipler brush. On use a weeny teeny amount as the brush is fantastic at coverage.

shellybelly · 14/05/2006 08:43
