any more chanel gals?

Toots · 08/05/2006 22:12

Spots here too. Been vitaluming on and off for 2/3 weeks and normally not spotty. Hmmm.

Gingerbear · 08/05/2006 23:32

I have some, I like it but it is quite greasy - use sparingly.

Nbg · 08/05/2006 23:35

No spots here but my skin is pretty good atm and I'm putting that down to pregnancy.

Have to admit though, the last couple of times I've been out I've just used touche eclat and blusher Shock

Passionflower · 09/05/2006 00:19

Am loving my vitalumier liquid in cendre. Have had loads of compliments, preen....

swedishmum · 09/05/2006 00:25

I lovethe liquid in clair - great for my winter skin tone, but will be too pale for me soon. Any ideas on what the next shade up will be? No time at the moment to go on long shopping trips.

anchovies · 09/05/2006 00:36

Am also (newly) spotty...

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 09/05/2006 00:38

maybe I should try this stuff. I'm a touche elcat and powder woman in the main. re the spots - I don;t notice make up making me spotty as such, but if I don;t where any for several days my skin definitely looks better

Passionflower · 09/05/2006 00:43

cendre is between clair and beige I think.

glad its not just me-I really like it on the whole but could do without spots!

makealist · 09/05/2006 22:27

I have also got some vitalumiere.
When the makeup lady tested the colours on my skin she recommended that I took the darker shade, but when I went to put it on myself the next morning i thought she had made a big mistake as it looked too orange, but I blended it in well and it looks great, I've had a few compliments too. So can't be bad Smile

I also treated myself to a Chanel nail polish (english rose) which is lovely and lasts very well and does not seem to chip off.

All I need now is for someone to recommend a really great lipstick, one that lasts, but not the type that you have to keep putting the gloss on top of the colour. (if you know what I mean)

Northerner · 10/05/2006 12:19

I've sampled the fluid in Clair and the creme in beige. One's a bit too light and one is too pale. Think I prefer the creme though to the fluid.

Hmmm.

cod · 10/05/2006 18:38

so?

CountessDracula · 10/05/2006 18:38

I got some cod

CountessDracula · 10/05/2006 18:39

it is called clair

cod · 10/05/2006 18:40

and?
fgs blood oout of stone

puff · 10/05/2006 18:41

looks extra fab applied with my MAC foundation brush

CountessDracula · 10/05/2006 18:41

weeelllll
at first I quite liked it but though I use a tiny amount (really like half a pump)I thought yesterday that it maybe was a bit silvery adn too shiny looking a la pat butcher

JoolsToo · 10/05/2006 18:44

I got a sample - the Chanel lady was absolutely crap - I think they'd sack her if they knew how useless she was.

I asked for a sample,
what colour she says,
I don't know
well I've only got beige (or summat)
don't you do it in different types
yes
which do you recommend?
its just a matter of choice really
she hands me the sample and that was it!

AND - its rubbish - well for battered old skin that needs all its imperfections hiding anyway.

Sorry cod I won't be buying it - I'm sticking with my Estee Lauder!

puff · 10/05/2006 18:45
