I bought some Chanel Vitalumiere foundation today....

it ROCKS, really.
makes me look like I actually HAVE had some sleep in the last six months Grin
have chucked my other stuff int he bin Shock
and dd1 was playing with the Chanel lippy testers and when I stopped her she had a massive strop, yelling "BUT I NEEEEEEEED MAKEUP!!!"
she's not three till next month

i have the cream in limpide. don't find it oily to put on at all

never find foundation covers spots anyway, always use a separate concealer for that. but agree it is good as a sheer cover. which is much better for daytime and summer

well after getting a sample on Friday I must say I am pleased with it... I was approached by a male refugee yesterday...(so I must look good)
I can only presume he wanted to make babies... Wink

i dont htink chanel will us ehta in thei r marketing somehow..
i think if otyu all have bad skin no make up is goign to cover it relaly so caked on make up trying to hide it is crap

strawberrynet is ok, i have used it, but if you spend over a certain amount you may get caught for the import tax, so it's a calculated risk

touche eclat makes my skin go scabby

i dont wear foundation

I also use the liquid in claire. Been wearing it now for about 3 years as I wanted a good foundation for my wedding day.
It's really good stuff and I do actually wear it everyday. I find it very light, you don't actually realise you have foundation on. Not heavy at all....

I tried the Vitalumiere at the weekend.. and... I didn't like it! I thought I'd posted on this thread (must have been more that one thread). I did purchase Mac's Prep & Prime though which I am quite liking.

Ok, I was cynical but I got a sample from v. nice Chanel lady in John Lewis today. Beige - thought it would be too dark, but once I had it on - wow! I look gorgeous Wink.

Just did the school run and one of my friends told me I was looking really nice Smile. Didn't let her in on my secret though - she thought it was the top I was wearing Grin.

does anyone else find this makes them spotty?
I have used it for about 10 days and have lots of zits round my nose that wouldnt normally be there.
might just be a coincidence, hope so as otherwise I like it.
